Coming fresh off a postseason appearance at the 'bubble', the Orlando Magic are looking to qualify to the playoffs in the Eastern Conference for the third consecutive season.

Steve Clifford's team has already started preparing for the December 22nd start, but unfortunately won't be able to count with one of his players for a while.

After an MRI, Terrence Ross has a minor, non-displaced, hairline fracture in his left left big toe. The team stated that Ross will keep participating in non-contact practice work and his return date to contact will depend on how quickly he heals.

"Somebody stepped on my toe in the scrimmage...felt it right away," Ross said. "I'm still able to take spot-up jump shots."

Ross, 29, averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 69 games last season, and established himself as one of the best bench players in the league.
