On Sunday, we saw 10 hungry teams battle to bolster their bid for a place in the next NBA playoff round.
Los Angeles Lakers 119-108 Denver Nuggets
A huge first-half display for the Lakers was enough to see them see a second-half threat from the Nuggets to win their first game of the series.
Brilliant performances from LeBron James and Anthony Davis helped their team pull the series back to 1-3.
James scored 30 points, five rebounds and four assists.
His teammate Davis recorded a staggering 25 points, 23 rebounds and six assists.
Some lethal attacking play in the first quarter from Davis and James helped their side take a 28-23 lead going into the second quarter.
Los Angeles' attacking prowess did not stop there though, as Denvers' defence struggled to contain them, in the second quarter.
The Lakers scored a further 33 points to take a 61-48 lead heading into the second half.
The Nuggets were determined not to go down without a fight and tried to claw their way back into the game in the third quarter.
Serbian Centre Nikola Jokic scored two of Denvers' three-pointers to help them score 32 points in those 12 minutes.
Jokic showcased a brilliant performance collating 33 points, 14 assists and 14 rebounds throughout the game.
The final quarter saw both teams score 28 points a piece, and the Lakers with a huge 119-108 win against a very tough opponent.
Philadelphia 76ers 92-97 New York Knicks
A breathtaking and franchise-record-breaking game from guard Jalen Brunson pushed the 76ers closer to playoff elimination.
Brunson recorded a magnificent 47 points, 10 assists and four rebounds; a new Knicks record for the most points scored by a player in the playoffs.
That is nearly half of New York's points from yesterday's game!!!
It was Philadelphia who started the game as the brighter side.
They capitalised on a sloppy attacking display from the Knicks in the first quarter, taking a 27-17 lead, and providing them with a comfortable 10-point cushion.
However, New York finally came to life in the second quarter and went on an attacking rampage led by Brunson and British forward "OG" Anunoby.
Anunoby tallied 16 points and 14 rebounds throughout the game.
They scored 30 points in the second quarter but still trailed by two points going into the break.
Another 30 points and a stunning display from Brunson, edged the Knicks into a very narrow lead.
The 76ers suffered some accuracy issues in the dying embers of the game, which allowed the Knicks to snatch a 97-92 win, to see them take a 3-1 series win.
Dallas Mavericks 111-116 LA Clippers
Guards Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic were both the standouts for the Mavericks, but they narrowly lost to the Clippers which tied the series.
Irving put in an excellent performance as he scored 40 points, five assists and seven rebounds.
Doncic recorded 29 points, 10 assists and 10 points.
On the other hand, Paul George and James Harden were the top performers for the Clippers.
George tallied 33 points, eight assists and six rebounds in the game.
His teammate Harden collated 33 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
George helped his team to make a rapid start to the game with a stunning first-quarter display.
He scored three of their eight three-pointers, whilst matching the Mavericks with 16 points.
This helped his team carry a huge 39-16 lead into the second quarter.
Dallas managed to eat into the significant Clippers lead as they reduced the deficit to 17 points at half-time.
Kyrie Irving rallied the troops and led from the front as he helped his team back into the game.
The defensive play from the Mavericks was a lot better in the third quarter as they managed to hold LA to only 16 points.
The score was DAL 78-82 LAC heading into the final 12 minutes of the game.
In the thrilling matchup, the Mavericks took the lead with only two minutes left to play, which filled the American Airlines Center with hope.
However, the Clippers had enough fuel in the tank to retake the lead and see out a win to level the playoff series 2-2.
Indiana Pacers 126-113 Milwaukee Bucks
The Pacers continue to rock the Milwaukee Bucks with a huge victory that saw them take a 3-1 series lead.
The main action of the first quarter came from Bucks forward Bobby Portis Jr who only lasted seven minutes before being ejected for a slap and push on a Pacers player.
Despite the ejection, the first quarter was a very even affair with both teams scoring 33 points a piece.
The next twelve minutes continued in the same rapid pace with both teams scoring over 30 points again.
In the second quarter, Myles Turner, Ben Sheppard and Tyrese Halliburton drilled a three to provide their side with a three-point lead heading into the second half.
Indiana continued their lethal attacking prowess in the third quarter scoring a further 31 points.
Meanwhile, they tightened up their defence and held Milwaukee's usually reliable attack to only 21 points providing them a huge boost heading into the final quarter.
Guard Andrew Nembhard's wide-open layup helped cap a brilliant Indiana display with a dominant 126-113 win.
Phoenix Suns 116-122 Minnesota Timberwolves
A second-half collapse from the Phoenix Suns saw them crash out of the NBA playoffs with a 4-0 series loss.
The Suns had to win the match to stay in the playoffs and got off to a positive start against the Timberwolves.
Star veteran Kevin Durant slammed the ball home to give his team the edge following a very close first quarter.
He went on to record 33 points, five assists and nine rebounds.
Only a point divided the two sides at that stage of the game.
Guard Devin Booker was another shining spot on the Suns' roster last night after he tallied a brilliant 49 points, six assists and five rebounds.
He clutched a magnificent basket in the last second of the first half, despite being off-balance to send his team into the break leading 61-56.
The second half started in even fashion as both teams were hungry to post more points onto the scoreboard.
Minnesota managed to laser many threes to score three more points than their opponent in the third quarter, meaning that the pendulum could have swung any way in the final twelve minutes.
The Timberwolves defence proved to be the difference-maker in the fourth quarter which ultimately won them the game.
They hold strong to deny Phoenix on multiple occasions and hold them to just 24 points.
The eight-point difference in the final quarter was enough to see the Timberwolves advance to the next stage of the playoffs, confirming a lacklustre campaign for Phoenix.
