The Milwaukee Bucks are doing everything they can in order to try and keep Giannis Antetokounmpo in the squad for the next five years. That means making moves, and after trading for Jrue Holiday, the Bucks have made a couple of big signings in the free agency.

The Athletic's Shams Charania reported DJ Augustin has reached an agreement with the Milwaukee Bucks for three years and $21M.

Augustin had been with the Magic since the 2016/2017 season, leading them to the playoffs the last two years. The 33 year-old was one of the main reasons why Steve Clifford's team managed to get the eight seed last year, recording 10.5 points and 4.6 assists per game.

The former Magic Guard isn't the only addition the Bucks are making, as they have also signed free agent Bobby Portis on a two-year deal.

Portis, who has a player option in the second season, gets to join a title contender and will be a major addition for the Bucks front court.

The veteran will be playing for his fourth organization in the association after spending last season with the New York Knicks. In his lone-year at New York, Portis played 66 games where he came off the bench mostly, averaging 10.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest.
