Anthony Davis from the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a poke in the eye during one of the team scrimmages. The star didn't finish the game and is unsure on when he'll be returning to the court.

'AD', who hasn't practiced with the team since the incident, won't be rushed to comeback. Specially because there's no home court advantage when it comes to being inside 'the bubble', and also all the awards for the NBA season are over, as the awards will be based on players' performances through March 11, the day the league suspended play.

The Lakers can still afford to be cautious here, specially because they currently sit at the top of the Western Conference with a five game margin with eight contests to play.

In case Davis misses a extended period of time, Kyle Kuzma would fill in and play important minutes. The third year player has proven to be a valuable asset for the Lakers off the bench, averaging 12.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game this season.

“He was poked in the eye and he’ll be day-to-day.” Coach Frank Vogel said in a Zoom call with the media.
