Well, another win another milestone for the Golden State Warriors. Not surprising right? The way the Warriors are playing is scary this year and the Los Angeles Lakers were the latest victim to find this out.

In the Lakers defense Kobe Bryant wasn't playing, but even Bryant wouldn't have slowed this Warriors team down tonight.

This One Was All Warriors

It was advantage Warriors from the tip off. They were up at halftime by 15 points and never looked back after that. If the Lakers can take anything from this game, it could be the fact that they outscored the Warriors 28-17 in the fourth and final quarter. Honestly, how many Warriors starters were playing in the fourth? For the Lakers this year, these are things that they can take as moral victories.

Overall, it was another great night for the Warriors, but it did come with a little scare in the third quarter. After Stephen Curry made a ridiculous layup, he landed awkwardly and immediately started to hobble. He even tossed his mouth guard to the floor. At first many thought he was done for the game for sure and possibly longer. To much surprise he played after it happened and appeared to run it off, a great sign for the Warriors.

Klay Thompson had a monster game once again, scoring 36 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the field, leading all scorers. Of those 12 field goals, six of them were from behind the arc. Also contributing heavily for the Warriors was Draymond Green, who had nine points, five assists, and 12 rebounds.

For the Lakers, they were led by point guard Jordan Clarkson. Clarkson had 23 points and also grabbed five rebounds. The next highest scorer was Louis Williams and Ryan Kelly with 10 points apiece.

What does this mean for these two?

For the Lakers it is just another loss to an already terrible season. Dropping to 8-28 on the season, they just can't seem to get on the right track. Lakers' fans knew coming into the season it would be one of rebuilding and that is what they will start focusing on soon.

The Warriors got another win to add to an already full collection, and continue to take the league by storm with total domination. Going forward though, Golden State will need to keep an eye on Curry's calf injury and make sure to not risk playing him too much and losing him for an extended amount of time.

What's up next?

Next up for the Lakers is a another home game against the New Orleans Pelicans January 12th at 9:30 pm CT.

The Warriors travel to Portland, Oregon to take on the Portland Trail Blazers January 8th at 9 pm CT.
