Jason Kidd did one hell of a coaching job last year, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 41-41 record and to the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference, a job that gave him third place in the NBA Coach of the Year voting. People often forget that this Bucks' team won only 15 games the previous year, which was by far the worst record in the league during the 2013-2014 NBA season.

Now, Coach Kidd has an opportunity to build off his stellar season last year during free agency and the NBA draft, an opportunity he has already begun by trading away power forward Ersan Ilyasova to the Detroit Pistons for small forward Caron Butler and power forward Shawne Williams. The question now is how do these players fit in the Milwaukee Bucks' system or do they even? The most popular answer right now is that this is a money saving move in the part of the Milwaukee Bucks in order to re-sign shooting guard Khris Middleton in free agency.

However, before the Milwaukee Bucks even have a chance to re-sign Middleton, they have to make their selections in the 2015 NBA draft. The Milwaukee Bucks hold the 17th and 46th picks in the draft, and they may be looking to add an University of Wisconsin alumni with their first pick, as they are interested in both small forward Sam Dekker and center Frank Kaminsky with their 17th overall selection.

Both players would work extremely well, fitting into the Milwaukee Bucks system as they need more three-point shooters on their roster, especially now with Ilyasova gone and Middleton's cloudy future. In Kaminsky's case, it might work particularly well, seeing as the Milwaukee Bucks have a need for a stretch forward. In any case, it all depends on what position Jabari Parker plays next year, the small forward spot or the "preferred" power forward spot. If he does get his preference, the need for a stretch forward is watered down a bit and the stock for a small forward being selected has risen.

Another possibility is a shoot first point guard due to the lack of not having that at their disposal anymore, with Brandon Knight taking his talents to Phoenix. A player that this writer likes for this is D'Angelo Russell, who most certainly won't be there at selection 17, yet the Bucks do have the trade chips to move up if they so desired to. If not, the Bucks will most likely opt for a shoot first point guard at selection 46.

Pick Prediction: Sam Dekker, SF, University of Wisconsin
