Out of 11 media members, Andre Iguodala got 7 votes after an incredible effort in the NBA Finals. While nearly impossible to do, Andre was given the task to slow down LeBron James. Multiple guys tried to do it, including Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green, but nobody could give the effort like Andre did.

"I don't know how to describe it," Said Iguodala.

"He was great the entire series. Not when he just started starting, he was great the entire series," Said Draymond Green.

First and foremost, this trophy could not have gone to a classier guy. Prior to the NBA Season, Steve Kerr went to Iguodala and essentially told him he wanted him to come off the bench. Andre started over 750 consecutive games, and he told Kerr he'd come off the bench for the good of the team. Well, that plan worked. Kerr wanted Draymond to start, and Draymond had a break-out year while Andre contributed in a top-level effort as a 6th man.

Kerr decided to bring Andre back into the starting lineup in game 4 in place of Bogut to go small-ball, and it worked. "I saw his vision," Said Andre Iguodala. The Warriors won three straight to win the Finals in 6. Iguodala scored 14 or more points in 5 of 6 games and slowed down LeBron enough to win the Finals. Andre played big-time minutes and really helped seal the deal. Curry also could have won MVP, he played exceptional after his ugly game 2, but Andre really was a catalyst defensively and offensively.

Klay Thompson struggled in the Finals and the Warriors still pulled it out, this writer really enjoyed watching LeBron's play this series but it's tough to give the MVP award to a player on the losing team, although if LeBron got it yours truly wouldn't have disagreed with the decision.
