Coming into this game, both teams were tied 1-1, yet it seems like the Grizzlies wanted it more than the Dubs, as they were able to strike down on the struggling Warriors, taking the series lead after beating Golden State, 99-89.

After leaving Oakland with a home loss, the Golden State Warriors looked to gain some momentum coming into this game. However, they were not quite able to get over the hump as they gave up easy baskets, made careless turnovers, and missed some crucial shots towards the end of the game, allowing Memphis to come out of this one with a victory.

The first quarter seemed to be the best for the Warriors, and they were able to remain in the game with the help of Klay Thompson and Marreese Speights making some shots while Stephen Curry seemed to be missing some of the threes he usually makes. As for the Memphis Grizzlies, Zach Randolph chimed in with a couple of layups, while Marc Gasol helped on the defensive end, racking up some rebounds taking a 23-20 lead at the end of the first.

As for the second quarter, it seemed to be the place where the Grizzlies really took control of the game with Kosta Koufos and Beno Udrih making some shots, and the grinding Grizzlies defense being able to contest some of those three pointers from the Dubs, holding them to only 39 points as they finished the half going up 55-39, leading by 16 points. This really seemed to be the quarter that gave Memphis most of the momentum that they would later hold on to throughout the game.

When the third quarter came around, the Warriors started to get a little more aggressive on the defensive end, and with the help of Stephen Curry making some splashes, they were able to make it a six-point game, 60-54, with around seven minutes left in the third quarter. Yet, it was not enough for them to get over the hump as Randolph helped the Grizzlies come back and create a 15-point lead, 79-64, at the end of the third.

Now, the fourth quarter seemed to be the most interesting towards the end as the Warriors were able to inch back slowly creating an eight-point game with less than four minutes left to go, with the help of the starters knocking down some open shots. At one point, Harrison Barnes was able to sink in a layup at the 3:15 mark making it a four-point game at 88-84. However, that did not last too long as Courtney Lee hit a crucial three pointer to make it a seven-point lead. After that, the momentum stayed with the Grizzlies, as they were able to beat the Warriors, 99-89.

Some notable players from tonight's game for the Grizzlies was Zach Randolph, as he racked up 22 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Marc Gasol also added 21 points and 15 rebounds. Tony Allen was also huge on the defensive end, picking up four steals and five rebounds as well as eight points, as the Grizzlies took down the Dubs.

As for the Warriors, Stephen Curry led the team with 23 points and six assists. Klay Thompson added 20 points while Harrison Barnes put up 16 points and six rebounds. Despite all of this, the Warriors committed 17 turnovers, seven of those coming from the Splash Brothers, while the other 10 came from Draymond Green, Harrison Barnes, and Leandro Barbosa.

If the Warriors want to win Game 4, they have to come out Monday night with a sense of urgency and must cut down on their turnovers, as they have been fairly high the past two games. Also, the Splash Brothers have to get something going early on, so they can set the tone for the rest of the night.

The Grizzlies are not going to go down without a fight, so be sure to tune in Monday night for Game 4 of this intense series at 9:30 pm EST on TNT.
