Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports has been told by sources that the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are still discussing a Goran Dragic deal.

Kevin Garnett should be a great mentor for this young T-Wolves team. This could also be the beginning for KG to get into ownership with his former club after he is done playing.

David Mayo of MLive.com reported that Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy said they are not moving on Jarret Jack (BKN) or Norris Cole (MIA). Van Gundy also makes personel decisions along with coaching the team.

Adrian Wojnarowski just reported the Oklahoma City Thunder still haven't signed off on the Brook Lopez deal. OKC still looking at other centers like Enes Kanter of the Utah Jazz. However, Wojnarowski thinks the Nets trade will happen and should be coming soon.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports the Philadelphia 76ers are still talking about a deal regarding Chase Budinger of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Bundinger would be baught out and the Sixers would receive draft picks.

The Dallas Mavericks have signed Bernard James to a second 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of RealGM. James spent time overseas in Chinese Basketball Association.

Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated reports the Detroit Pistons are looking for guard help. Norris Cole and Jarrett Jack are on their watch list.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports says there is growing belief that Kevin Garnett will waive his no-trade clause to return to Minnesota

Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today reported that Gregg Popovich said there is a zero point four percent chance the San Antonio Spurs make a deal. I'm sure they are checking around but nothing is real serious.

You wonder if the reason is because he doesnt't want to trade him to Knicks, Lakers, or Heat. Or that he just doesn't want to give into Dragic's demands and is waiting out for a better offer from a team Dragic doesn't want to play for.

Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com says that Suns owner Robert Sarver is sticking to his guns and won't trade Goran Dragic.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports Reggie Jackson is willing to sign long-term with the Brooklyn Nets if or when traded from OKC

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports that if the Miami Heat include Norris Cole in a Goran Dragic deal that Cole could be shipped to the Detroit Pistons

Ken Berger of CBS Sports reports that the Atlanta Hawks are one of several teams interested in Gary Neal who was dealt to Minnesota. The Timberwolves have no interest in buying him out so a trade could be inevitable.

Adrian Wojnarowski also adds that Brooklyn Nets guard Jarrett Jack could be heading to the Washington Wizards and Kevin Garnett to the Minnesota Timberwolves as apart of a broder deal.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports that Brook Lopez to the Oklahoma City Thunder is close. Reggie Jackson would hed to the Brooklyn Nets

Sam Amich of USA Today has reported the Knicks are still pursuing Goran Dragic. Phoenix is asking for player (Calderon/Hardaway Jr.) and a draft pick

Ken Berger of CBS Sports reports there is no viable deal in place for Goran Dragic

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports that if OKC gets Brook Lopez for Reggie Jackson they could focus on acquiring Norris Cole of the Miami Heat to fill that backup PG position.

Looks like Wilson Chandler is stuck with the Nuggets for now. With the trades of Afflalo and McGee it seems the Nuggets are done making moves.

Christopher Dempsey of the Denver Post reports that the Nuggets have no plans to trade Wilson Chandler

There is a connection, Andre Miller and new Sacramento Kings head coach George Karl were in Denver at the same time. Miller also presents leadership for their young star DeMarcus Cousins.

The Wizards needed an upgrade in the backcourt off the bench and Ramon Sessions seems to be an upgrade from an offensive standpoint over Andre Miller who is 39 years old and is the oldest active player in the league.

BREAKING NEWS: Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported the Sacramento Kings will send Ramon Sessions to Washington Wizards for Andre Miller.

BREAKING NEWS: Adrian Wojnarowski just reported the Denver Nuggets have trade JaVale McGee to the Philadelphia 76ers along with first round pick via Oklahoma City

According to Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders the Denver Nuggets and Ty Lawson are frustrated with each other and reports a trade is still "very possible."

The first rounder headed to Denver is for 2016 and is lottery protected in 2017. Adrian Wojnarowski also notes that if it doesn't get there in 2017 then it's two future second round picks.

BREAKING NEWS: Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers have struck a deal sending Arron Aflalo to Portland for Will BartonVictor ClaverThomas Robinson, future lottery-protected 1st round pick, and a second round pick. Alonzo Gee is also going from Denver to Portland.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have "cautious optimism" that Kevin Garnett will waive his no-trade clause, reported by Marc Stein of ESPN.com

Reggie Jackson did turn down a 4-year $48 million deal from Thunder, so the Nets would have to be willing to give him close to $14 million per-year like Eric Bledsoe received.

The Nets are trying to figure how Jackson feels about coming to Brooklyn. And Jarrett Jack would be moved in a deal if Jackson does come to the Nets.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports includes that Perry Jones III and Kendrick Perkins would be packaged with Reggie Jackson from OKC to Brooklyn

There is thought that Thaddeus Young (MIN) and Kevin Garnett (BKN) could be lumped in this trade making it a three-team deal.

A deal between Brooklyn and Oklahoma City is "close but not done" in a package that includes Brook Lopez and Reggie Jackson.

If Brooklyn receives Reggie Jackson from OKC you would have to think another trade of Deron Williams or Jarrett Jack would be lined up. Otherwise, it wouldn't make much sense roster wise or financially.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports talks between Brooklyn Nets and Oklahoma City Thunder are in serious talks about a trade package of Brook Lopez for Reggie Jackson.

Chris Broussard of ESPN.com has a source saying the Miami Heat are offering two future first round picks for Dragic. However, also says Suns owner Sarver still being stubborn about trading him

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports that talks of Brook Lopez to Oklahoma City could heat back up if Reggie Jackson is part of deal and is whilling to sign extension.

It was rumored last night that the Pistons had inquired about Joe Johnson but right now a deal isn't close.

Stefan Bondy of the New York Dailey News reports that the Joe Johnson talks between the Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets have gained no traction.

Christopher Dempsey of The Denver Post reported that the Nuggets were never interested in a Ty Lawson for George Hill trade. At this point is seems unlikely that Lawson will be dealt, unless a team overwhelms the Nuggets.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports gives a list of teams that are dormant at the moment: Spurs, Raptors, Clippers, Hawks, and Grizzlies

As long as New York isn't giving up a 1st round pick than that's a nice deal for New York and Phoenix would acquire two solid role players for an already playoff caliber team.

Thats not a terrible deal for both teams but for the Knicks they aren't giving up much considering your trading Calderon for Dragic, and even though Hardaway Jr. is a nice young talent he doesn't seem to fit the Knicks system.

Chris Broussard of ESPN.com has reported the New York Knicks have a package of Jose Calderon and Tim Hardaway Jr. they would send to the Phoenix Suns for Goran Dragic

Tim Bontemps of the New York Post is hearing Kevin Garnett will meet with the brass of the Minnesota Timberwolves discussing the possibility of him finishing out his career with the team he started with

It seems the only team Garnett is even considering is his fomer club the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Brooklyn Nets are very "enamored" by Thadeus Young, a source says.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports that Kevin Garnett still isn't willing to buyout even though the Los Angeles Clippers and his former head coach Doc Rivers are interested in his services.

If the Nuggets want to make some moves this trade deadline they will have to soften the asking price, especially for Wilson Chandler

Denver is asking for a 1st rounder and second rounder for Arron Aflalo and two first rounders for Wilson Chandler.

The Denver Nuggets are set to be active this trade deadline but according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com the price tag for Arron Afflalo and Wilson Chandler are still way too high for most teams.

They have been linked to players such as Ty Lawson (Nuggets), Reggie Jackson (Thunder), and Enes Kanter (Jazz). Players they are willing to trade on their roster are Ersan Ilyasovan, O.J. Mayo, and John Henson. The Bucks have already made a move as they are close to a buyout agreement with Larry Sanders

One team to be aware of as the deadline winds down is the Milwaukee Bucks.

Marc Stein also reports that at this point if Kevin Garnett wants to reunite with the Minnesota Timberwolves then it's up to him. All KG would have to do is waive his no-trade clause and it's almost a done deal. However, there seems to be a little hesitancy on Garnett's part.

If Phil Jackson could make one more trade that sheds salaray the Knicks would be under the tax line. That's hard to believe.

Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports that the New York Knicks are now $2,864,685  over the tax line after the Amar'e Stoudemire buyout.

That could be a little posturing by the owner Rob Sarver but I find it hard to believe they would keep him knowing he won't re-sign.

Chris Broussard also mentioned that Phoenix Suns owner Rob Sarver is refusing to accomodate Dragic's trade request.

In the latest Goran Dragic front, Chris Broussard of ESPN.com says "no way" Dragic signs long term deal with Pacers, Rockets, Celtics, Kings. The three teams Dragic has said he would sign with is the Heat, Lakers, Knicks

Just keep following this Live here on VAVEL USA. We will have updates posted soon as we hear word.

Remember, the trade deadline ends at 3 pm ET, but there could still be last minute trades after 3 pm if teams submitted their trades to the league office for approval before the trade buzzer.

Under 12 hours remaining until the trade buzzer sounds, and rumors have simmered down a bit. It will probably remain quiet until early morning Eastern Time.

There have been murmurs about an Enes Kanter trade, but the Jazz are not shopping him too hard. They have been considerably happy with the big man. Though, Kanter will become a restricted free agent during the summer, and it remains to be seen if Utah will be adamant on matching any offers he gets.

Afflalo's teammate, Wilson Chandler, is another player the Nuggets are shopping. Denver is asking for the same price for Chandler as well, a first-round draft pick. Chandler has drawn much interest like Afflalo has, but the Blazers could target him if they are unable to snatch Afflalo.

Many have reported that Arron Afflalo is very likely to be dealt. The 29 year-old swingman is drawing a lot of interest around the league. The Portland Trail Blazers are considered front-runners for him and are likely to squander a first-round pick to acquire him. The Clippers and Bulls also have strong interest in Afflalo.

Detroit is also targeting Utah Jazz point guard Trey Burke. No trade is imminent at this moment, though.

Aside from Johnson, the Nets could revisit trade talks with the Oklahoma City Thunder in attempts to trade big man Brook Lopez. The Nets, Hornets, and Thunder came close to making a deal earlier in the season, but Brooklyn pulled out of the trade.

According to Stu Jackson, the Detroit Pistons are very interested in swingman Joe Johnson. The Pistons reportedly have an offer of Brandon Jennings, Caron Butler, and Jonas Jerebko.

Speaking of the Nets, it seems like they have been in the middle of every trade rumor. They are trying to unload their three veterans, Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, and Brook Lopez.

Thaddeus Young has an Early Termination Option for next season worth nearly $10 million. Brooklyn really likes Young's versatility on offense. He is much younger than Garnett, and could play the four or the three.

Garnett has a no-trade clause, but he may want to go back to the organization he started his career with, as he spent 12 wonderful seasons in a Timberwolves uniform. Garnett has a $12 million expiring contract and could retire at seasons end.

Also according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Brooklyn Nets are discussing a Kevin Garnett-Thaddeus Young swap.

Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports that the Detroit Pistons are interested in Miami Heat point guard Norris Cole. Shams Charania of RealGM also points to the Washington Wizards as a team pursuing Cole. However, the Heat are asking a lot which might take Washington out of the running. Look for the Wizards to look at free agents to help their backcourt off the bench. They have one available spot on their roster.

According to Rick Bucher of Bleacher Report the Pacers are willing to move one of their high-paid veterans to create cap space for free agency this summer. The only player that’s untouchable for Indiana is Paul George.

Chris Broussard of ESPN.com has reported that the Denver Nuggets are trying to trade point guard Ty Lawson. The Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, and Milwaukee Bucks are interested in the Denver point guard. Nuggets head coach Brian Shaw wants the organization to acquire George Hill from the Indiana Pacers if they trade Lawson.

The feeling is that Martin has a good chance remaining with the Timberwolves past the deadline but they are keeping their options open. Teams like the Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, and Dallas Mavericks have also been linked to his services.

Another wing player who could be valuable for a playoff team is Kevin Martin of the Minnesota Timberwolves. According to Sam Amick of USA Today the Houston Rockets and Washington Wizards are linked to the veteran shooting guard.

It’s a tough spot for Oklahoma City since they are in the midst of a playoff race and Jackson has been a nice piece off the bench. But sometimes getting rid of unhappy players helps the rest of the team focus on the task at hand. For the Thunders sake they need to receive someone who can continue to give value off the bench, a player who can handle the ball, and maybe a veteran point guard who knows his role off the bench who is more a pass first guy.

Chris Broussard of ESPN.com reports the Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, and Denver Nuggets are the teams interested so far.

To give an idea where Jackson is right now, when asked at practiced today if he wanted to remain in Oklahoma City, he said “I would love to basketball,” Darnell Mayberry of the Oklahoman reported.

Jackson and Oklahoma City have been at odds for awhile and the trade for Dion Waiters from Cleveland didn’t make the relationship any better. Jackson has made it known he wants to start and the fact they have a guy named Russell Westbrook it isn’t going to happen in OKC.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports has reported that Reggie Jackson’s agent has gone to the Thunder front office and asked that they trade him before the deadline.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports that if the Milwaukee Bucks buyout Larry Sanders contract that Sanders may decide not to play the rest of the season.

That player is Larry Sanders of the Milwaukee Bucks. ESPN’s Mark Stein reported that the buyout agreement is nearly complete. Shams Charania of RealGM reported some details of the buyout noting Sanders could receive $13 million of the $40 million contract.

Amar’e Stoudemire was bought out of his contract with the New York Knicks and officially signed with the Dallas Mavericks today. It seems there will be another big man who is bought out of his contract.

The Suns seem reluctant to trade Dragic, but it seems that he won’t re-sign with the team. It seems Phoenix would rather trade Isaiah Thomas but if they trade him Dragic doesn’t re-sign then they get burned twice. Look for Dragic to be traded before the deadline.

Marc Stein of ESPN reported that Phoenix Suns center Miles Plumlee could be attached to a trade regarding the Lakers and the Knicks. Both teams have inquired on Plumlee and wouldn’t be impossible to think that Dragic and Plumlee could be attached.

Teams linked to Dragic are the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics, and Sacramento Kings

According to Sam Amick of USA Today Sports Dragic’s representatives told team officials that he wants to be traded from Phoenix since he has no intentions of re-signing this summer when he’s a free agent.

The biggest rumor and potentially the biggest deal that could go down before the 3 PM deadline is the point guard dilemma with Goran Dragic and the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix has three point guards for two spots and it hasn’t been a seamless transition for Eric Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas, and Goran Dragic. All three are capable starting point guards who demand starter’s minutes at that position. Thus, the rumor that Dragic wants out and the Suns are shopping him has life.

Let’s start with the biggest rumors we have thus far that have been swirling around the NBA for days and weeks.

The NBA trade deadline is on Thursday at 3 PM EST. However, leading up to the aforementioned deadline there are plenty of rumors about players and teams that are looking to shape their club in a way that suits their situation as the stretch run nears.
