The Boston Celtics and Restricted Costless-Agent guard Avery Bradley came to an agreement on a new contract this morning.  The deal is for 4 years/$32 millioin dollars, roughly $8 million a year for the 23-year old.

Bradley is coming off of his best NBA season, where he averaged 15 points and four rebounds.  With Bradley back on board, the Celtics now may be a little crowded at the guard position, with new draftees Marcus Smart and James Young coming in along with Phil Pressey and Rajon Rondo who were there for the club last year.

It's no secret that retaining Bradley is huge for this team, as it makes their backcourt much more dangerous, and the Celtics could easily boast the quickest and most defensive backcourt in the NBA this season.

If this is step one for those 'fireworks' that Danny Ainge was talking about, it's a pretty good one.
