7:38: Kendrick Perkins also needs to pick up his game in this series. Not on the offensive end, but he needs to help on covering Duncan

7:30: Magic Johnson: "Im looking forward to seeing the adjustments the Thunder make against the Spurs tonight".

7:30: Game starts in 30 minutes!

7:00: Ginobili will also be huge for the Spurs in this matchup. His points off of the bench were huge for them last game

7:00:  Other NBA news: The Pacers are really going to struggle in game 3 if Paul George isnt back, which is very likely

7:00: Popovich still doesnt believe that Ibaka will be out for the whole series

7:00: interesting fact: all of Manu Ginobili's 18 points in game 1 were in the second half

7:00: Tonights game will be extremely pivotal for the Thunder, as they will attempt to avoid the 2-0 hole, and take home home court advantage

7:00: The Spurs will need to keep up their scoring and defense, inside the paint. They will need to address the issue of Russell Westbrook on the defensive end as well.

7:00: In tonight’s game, the Thunder will need balanced scoring, bench points, and well-timed runs to win the game.

7:00: The player to look for tonight’s game is Tony Parker. Parker played extremely well in the first game, registering a double-double. Tim Duncan will also be interesting to look, as he will be guarded by Collison.

7:00: Spurs players are going to be much more rested for this game than Thunder players. Brooks has relied heavily upon his starters throughout their postseason journey, however the Spurs coasted through the second round, and blew out the Blazers in 4 of their 5 games.

7:00: The Spurs are ranked number 1 in the league in three-point percentage in the playoffs, at 40%. Their three point shooting may be the key to winning this series.

7:00: One overlooked problem for the Spurs in the playoffs is their costless throw shooting. They are shooting 78% from the line, which is ranked 4th in the playoffs. The Thunder, however, are ranked 2nd at 81%.

7:00: Other NBA news: Lance Stephenson has been fined for flopping, and Paul George is out with a concussion. He will not be allowed to play until his symptoms are gone, per NBA policy.

7:00: Other Thunder News: The Knicks are going to hold off on hiring a coach until Phil Jackson gets a chance to talk to Derek Fisher after the playoffs.

7:00: Scott Brooks tried to beat the Spurs with a small lineup, and it didn’t work at all. Brooks is going to have to go with a bigger lineup throughout this game.

7:00: Spurs’ coach Gregg Popovich made a statement about game two: “They’re not going to be stopped but if those kinds of players can be made to work hard and just take something away, it can work to your advantage.”

7:00: Westbrook also had something to say about the Thunder’s performance: “I don’t necessarily say we have to be perfect, just get it done. Whatever we need to do to get it done. There will be times when they’re going to make plays. They’re a great team. There will be times we’re going to make plays. But we’re just going to continue and stay with it.”

7:00: In a post-game interview Durant talked about how the Thunder couldn’t put together a run in the fourth quarter to keep them in the game: “We turned the ball over a little too much but we’ve got to continue to trust whether guys are hitting shots or not. We’ve got to keep playing within our offense and playing with the pass. We’ll be fine. We do a good job of attacking, not just ourselves, but for our teammates. We’ve just got to continue to trust”

7:00: If the Spurs can keep up their game one play, it is almost a guaranteed win. When the Spurs play this well, they win with ease.

7:00: The Thunder can’t play two-on-five basketball in this game. They will have to work together as a team.

7:00: In this game, the Thunder are going to need more production from Sefolosha and Collison, with the bench keeping up their production. The Thunder are going to have to focus more of their energy on the defensive end in this game as well. The Thunder are an extremely capable offensive team. The Thunder don’t need to focus on the offense, it will come to them. They absolutely have to stop Tony Parker and Tim Duncan on the defensive end.

7:00: As usual, the Spurs had balanced scoring in game 1. Each of the starters scoring 14 points or more except for Tiago Splitter, who scored 6. Tony Parker finished the game with 14 points and 12 assists. Ginobili was also notable off of the bench, scoring 18. The Thunder defense is going to have to do a better job guarding Tony Parker if they want to take home court.

7:00: The Thunder went on to lose game 1 in a 122-105 blowout. As usual, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook produced, scoring 28 and 25 respectively. Nick Collison and Thabo Sefolosha, however, combined for a total of 0 points, 1 assist, and 4 rebounds in 32 total minutes of play. Derek Fisher came up huge for the Thunder off of the bench, scoring 16 points. Reggie Jackson also added 13 off of the bench. Caron Butler had 9 points in 25 minutes.

7:00: Collison on the lineup change: “The lineups, there’s no magic. I don’t think there’s any magic lineups if we’re not going to have the effort and concentration. That’s our job as players, and then coach will figure out what works for us. But for us we’ve got to be really engaged and ready to go when the game starts.

7:00: Durant talked about Ibaka’s absence after the game: “Look, Serge is not going to be here. He’s injured for the rest of the post season, so we’ve got to move past that and just keep playing as a team".

7:00: Before game 1, the Thunder announced that power forward Serge Ibaka would be out for the remainder of the post-season. They also announced that Nick Collison would be starting in his place, and not Steven Adams as most assumed.

7:00: Tonight the Thunder look to steal a game in San Antonio, and go home with home court advantage.

7:00: The San Antonio Spurs will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at home. Tip-off is at 9:00 EST (6:00 PST). The Spurs crushed the Thunder in game 1 of the series, which was also in San Antonio.
