The NBA Draft Lottery has come and past and the Cleveland Cavaliers have won the #1 pick, which means the Bucks who were the league’s worst ranked team, did not. The Cavs moved up from 9 to 1, and they had a 1.7% chance of getting the 1. The last time a team moved up that many spots in the lottery were the Bulls and that #1 pick turned into Derrick Rose.

This lottery turned into a very exciting one, with many teams moving up a couple or down a couple, but by far the biggest move was the Cavs going from 9-1. It happens all the time, almost as much as the projected 1 gets it. If you are asking yourself where the rest of the teams ranked, here they are.

2014 Draft Lottery Results:

Biggest Winner: Cleveland; This is the 3rd time in the last 4 years they have won the lottery. Can you say lucky?

Biggest Loser: Milwaukee; They were the worst team in the NBA over this year and sadly they will only have the 2nd pick in the upcoming draft.

Other winners are the Orlando Magic and the Philadelphia 76ers, who both have two picks in this very deep draft, and they could get two starters out of it if they pick smart.

The draft lottery is now finished which means that we now must wait until late June to see what the teams do with their picks. This is the hard part. Waiting patiently.
