In light of his remarks discriminating against minorities, Donald Sterling's week just keeps on getting worse. First, a spokesperson for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), has announced that Sterling will not receive a lifteime award from them. It was planned that he would accept the award early next month but obviously, that no longer will happen.

Then there are the remarks made by current NBA players and legends. Magic Johnson said that he and his wife will "never go to a Clippers game again as long as Donald Sterling is the owner." His next tweet said that he feels "sorry for my friends Coach Doc Rivers and Chris Paul that they have to work for a man that feels that way about African-Americans." He ended his rant by saying that Sterling's comments are "a black eye for the NBA." Johnson's former teammate James Worthy said "it would be hard for me to play another game for Sterling." Consensus greatest basketball player of all-time Michael Jordan announced that he is "disgusted that a fellow team owner could hold such sickening and offensive views." LeBron James had a lot to say about the comments as well, "It's very disrespectful and very appalling." He also added "There's no room for him in our league."

Today, in their game against the Warriors, the Clippers held a protest of Sterling's comments. First, they took off their warm-up shirts and threw them on the floor and mid-court. They did not warm up with them. Then, the shirts they did warm up in, were turned inside-out. Clearly, his own players and players everywehre are very disappointed with the recent news about Sterling. Just remember, an investigation continues and it has not been proven yet that Sterling was the one in the phone call. If it is proven true, though, this is a very bad look for the NBA.
