The Seattle Sounders look for a first league win since April when they host Minnesota United at Lumen Field.

Seattle has dropped three matches in a row in MLS play since defeating the Loons and are bottom of the Western Conference standings.

Consecutive shutouts halted Minnesota's two-match winning streak as the Loons have not scored in 182 minutes and sit tenth in the standings.

They did advance in the U.S. Open Cup, defeating Colorado over two days after the match was halted on Wednesday and resumed on Thursday.

Ones to watch

Will Bruin (Seattle Sounders)

With Raul Ruidiaz yet to score in league play, Nicolas Lodeiro and Joao Paulo out, Bruin, who has had past success against Minnesota, scoring three times, will be key in the middle of the Sounders' three-man front line.

Previous meetings

In April, the Sounders claimed a 2-1 victory in their second match of the season.

Joao Paulo opened the scoring in the 38th minute with a wonder strike for Seattle and Brent Kallman deflected Jordan Morris' cross past Dayne St. Clair for an own goal to double the advantage.

The Loons grabbed a late penalty as Jackson Regan fouled Joseph Morales and Emanuel Reynoso converted from the spot.
