Infinitely bright and radiant, multifaceted and charming, Desenzano del Garda is in a strategic position from a geographical and infrastructural point of view: in fact, it has a proven and authorized railway connection, making it the cornerstone for reaching nearby Milan, Brescia, Verona and Mantua. It has a freeway exit that leads to the center and the lake in two minutes.

Time trial stage that tends to be flat with several undulations in its interior. Some villages are crossed in a series of slight climbs and descents, all slightly downhill towards the shore of Lake Garda. The first intermediate point is located 7.8 km from the start in Solferino and the second point is located at the 23.2 km mark, i.e. 8 km from the finish line.

Jonathan Milan and a new victory in the Giro

Jonathan Milan achieved a new victory in the Giro d'Italia 2024. The Italian already has three in his personal account in the competition this year, after winning the final sprint that took place at the arrival to the city of Cento.

It was a day that was supposed to be a carefree one, with only the three intermediate sprints being contested. The escapees of the day led the race with all tranquility, but after the three points of dispute, the peloton was divided by an intense work that drove the INEOS Grenadiers; after regrouping, there was a fall that again split the group.

The sprint dispute came after the peloton regrouped again in the last kilometers and in an exciting finish, Fernando Gaviria wanted to attack from behind, but in the end, Jonathan Milan's legs were stronger to take the win.
