Thiem reaches the final
Dominic Thiem wins the match 6-2 7-6 (7) 7-6 (5)
Well, it looked like that would be an easy breaker for Thiem as he jumped out to 5-1 lead, but credit to Medvedev for fighting back. In the end, he comes up a bit short, which means the favorite who hadn't dropped a set all tournament, doesn't win any tonight.
Thiem looks to be in irrepressible form as heads into the final against Zverev. His level against some really good competition is impressive and he'll look to finally take home his first major title on his fourth attempt on Sunday afternoon.
That's all for now. This is John Lupo saying good night.
