The Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium is a soccer and athletics stadium located in the city of Guwahati, Assam state in India. The stadium pays tribute to Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India assassinated in 1984.
The stadium was inaugurated in 2007 and is since 2014 the home ground of the team NorthEast United FC, a soccer club in the nascent Indian Super League.
On March 12, 2015 it hosted the match between the Indian National Team against Nepal for the first round of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.
