Will Gaetano D'Agostino Join The Montreal Impact?

It was exactly three weeks ago today that transfer market guru Gianluca Di Marzio reported about Gaetano D’Agostino having an interest in joining the MLS, and the Montreal Impact being one of the teams that would have interest in the 32 year-old Siena midfielder. Fast forward to today, where according to Nicolò Schira, the Montreal Impact will provide a response on Sunday whether or not they would be interested in acquiring D'Agostino. 

With the Montreal Impact last in the Eastern Conference, with just 1 win in 11 games, President Joey Saputo promised some changes. There have been rumours about the Montreal Impact interested in acquiring Pablo Piatti, so the question remains: Is D'Agostino a Plan B, or, will the Impact be bold and acquire both Piatti and D'Agostino? They only have one DP spot remaining, so one thing is for certain. Interesting times are ahead for the club as it tries to turn its season around.
