The New England Revolution are the best team in Major League Soccer, no doubt about it.

Even though the club got off to a slow start in 2014, the team has now found its grove and is moving forward at light-speed. Currently the club is boasting a record of 6-3-2, with a goal difference of +6. With how poor the team started this season, it is hard to think that the club only has lost three matches.

MLS experts can finally take a breath and realize that their preseason predictions of the Revolution are finally starting to come true. Anytime a team can produce 10 goals in two games that certainly gets the attention of a lot of people, especially up-coming opponents.

One main reason for the team's current run of success is how well the forwards and midfielders are gelling together. Diego Fagundez, Lee Nguyen and Patrick Mullins are starting to show why each one is a dominant player. Mullins is currently on a three goal spree in three games. Fagundez has scored three goals in the past two matches and Nguyen tallied his fifth goal of the season this past weekend. Each player is proving that each is playing at the highest level possible and knows what it takes to make their team a dominant force.

No team ever plans on scoring ten goals in two games, even if those teams were Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. With the growing level of play in MLS, scoring ten goals in two games is an unheard of feat.

Three players who have made a silent but deadly impact so far this season are Daigo Kobayashi, Chris Tierney and Teal Bunbury. These three players have been making numerous plays all season long that have resulted in goals. Whether it be scoring a goal or providing a perfectly placed pass that leads to a goal, these three players have been a crucial part of the team’s success. Between the three players, there is a total of three goals and eight assists split between them.

The Revolution have a three very winnable matches coming-up. New England will take on D.C. United, Montreal Impact and New York Red Bulls, respectively over the next three weeks. Each game is set-up well for the Revs to grab nine very needed points. With the season in full-swing, the Revs are gearing-up for a deep run in this year's MLS Cup playoffs.
