Austin Dillon topped off a successful week and a half for the Dillon family after he took his #3 truck in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to victory lane this afternoon at Pocono Raceway.

Brother Ty Dillon grabbed his first win in a Nationwide Series car last weekend, they also both had good runs at Eldora in the Truck Series last week and Austin had a top ten finish in the Brickyard 400 last Sunday in the Sprint Cup Series.

Dillon's win is also special this season in the Truck Series, as it ended Toyotas dominance as they had won all of the first ten races of the season, eight of which have been won by Kyle Busch Motorsports, and Dillon in the Chevrolet Silverado truck made sure that Toyota did not win this one.

The Truck Series is a bit different from the new type of cars that he is used to racing as a rookie in the Cup Series, but Dillon, who started on the inside of the front row at the drop of the green flag, managed to overcome late cautions to beat full-time Truck Series driver Johnny Sauter to the checkered flag.

Young Joey Coulter brought his #21 truck home in 3rd, one place in front of Cup Series veteran Clint Bowyer who was subbing for the injured John Wes Townley in the #05 Zaxbys truck. Ryan Blaney came home in 5th in the #29 truck.

Before the race began Bowyer told FOX Sports 1, "I feel good to help this team out, but I feel bad to John Wes as he's a really good Truck Series driver. When I saw the length of the race I was like woah 60 laps, I've got a lot of work to do."

Full-time Truck Series driver German Quiroga was one of five drivers to start at the back of the field due to adjustments and NASCAR said that the punishment for the #17 team of Timothy Peters would be announced on Tuesday.

Sprint Cup Series rookie Kyle Larson brought the field to the green as he grabbed the Coors light Pole Award earlier today at Pocono in qualifying. He led lap one after choosing to restart on the outside of the front row. On lap 2, Justin Jennings in the #63 car was the first casualty of the race, as he had to bring his truck down pit road for the team to check.

Quiroga had made his way up into 18th already by lap 5 and Caleb Roark in the #0 truck was the second driver to have to come down pit road due to problems. Larson, Dillon, Ben Kennedy, Tyler Reddick, and Sauter were the top five at this point.

After ten laps were in the books, a lap speed of 164.423 MPH was the quickest for leader Larson in the #32 truck, as some drivers were already trying to save fuel in the event that it went green all of the race. NASCAR decided to extend this year's race by 10 laps to 60 in total.

Lap 13 saw reigning champion Matt Crafton in the #88 truck reporting to his team that he was tight centre off especially in turn 3 and Jennings and Roark were now out of the race.

One lap later, BJ McLeod in the #07 truck was the latest driver to come down pit road, as they had problems along with TJ Bell. Jennifer Jo Cobb in the #10 was the first driver to go a lap down.

The first caution of the race was displayed on lap 16 when Black Jr in the #08 truck lost control going into the tunnel turn and slammed into the inside wall. Under the caution, leader Larson came down pit road with some other drivers while Dillon stayed out and inherited the lead.

The restart on lap 20 saw Reddick in 2nd spot get loose into turn one and almost collect some other drivers, but luckily they all kept going without incident.

Lap 23 saw McLeod in the #07 truck have to retire from the race as Black Jr and Bell remained in the garage area getting repairs on their trucks. Dillon remained on the lead.

At the halfway point, Dillon was still out front from Larson, who had battled his way into 2nd under the caution. There were 24 trucks still on the lead lap and 27 trucks still in the race.

A lap later and Larson was back on point as Dillon pitted for the first time in the race and Black Jr had to retire due to his truck being too badly damaged for him to return to racing.

Green flag pit stops had begun for some drivers and as he was exiting his pit stall, Tyler Reddick in the #19 truck clipped Mason Mingus in the #35 truck who was making his way to his pit stall. Both sustained minimal damage and carried on in the race.

There was more bad luck for Reddick as he had been too fast exiting pit road on his stop and had to bring the #19 truck down pit road for his drive through penalty. Lap 35 saw substitute driver Bowyer go to the lead for the first time, as Larson was on pit road for the second time.

Larson was the latest driver to have problems and bad luck as he reported to his team that something did not feel right on the car. He continued to tell them that he would shut it off on the straight to try and resolve the problem on the #32 truck. Crafton became the latest leader in the race on the same lap as Bowyer came down pit road for his stop.

With only 20 laps to go, Kennedy was on point for the first time as Crafton came to his pit stall and 20 trucks remained on the lead lap with Reddick the first a lap down in 21st position.

There was almost big trouble out of turn two with 15 laps to go when Sauter got loose exiting the turn in front of Erik Jones in the #51 and Crafton in the #88, but all of them avoided contact.

The second caution was out with 14 laps to go when Kyle Martel in the #59 truck cut a left rear tire and hit the outside wall into turn one. Larson brought the #32 truck onto pit road and the team had the hood up trying to diagnose the problem. Bowyer was back to the lead for the restart, which came with just eight laps to go, but Dillon was back in front of him as they exited turn one.

Late cautions were a factor in the race last year and the third one was displayed with seven to go when Quiroga spun Reddick by accident just before they got to turn three. Both of them came down pit road to let the teams repair the damage.

The next restart came with three laps to go as Dillon led the field, but they did not complete the lap as the fourth caution was displayed when Reddick decided to get pay-back on Quiroga and spun him out on turn two. Tyler Young in the #02 truck was an innocent victim and had to retire from the race with damage.

NASCAR called Reddick to the garage area under the caution for dangerous driving and made him miss the rest of the race.

The green white checkered attempt would settle the race on the next and final restart as Dillon and Bowyer made up the front row. Dillon got a good run out of turn one, but Bowyer went backwards allowing Sauter to jump into 2nd.

At the white flag Dillon held a 1.3 second lead over Sauter who only had a slim lead over 3rd placed Coulter. Dillon held on to get his first win of the 2014 Camping World Truck Series from Sauter, who was the highest finishing Truck Series driver.
