6. Anze Kopitar, Los Angeles Kings: (Josh-8th, Max-3rd)

Josh says, “Kopitar is one of the best defensive centers in the league. He also has sneaky speed, which he shows at certain times. In his breakaway goal to win game one of the Stanley Cup Final in 2012, he showed it off. He’s been a 60+ point guy each year of his career except for the lockout season. He gets somewhat overlooked playing in a non-traditional hockey city.

Max says, “Anze Kopitar is at number 3 on this list because he has led the Kings to two Stanley Cups  while being an assistant captain to one of the best teams in the NHL the last handful of years. Last season, he scored 29 goals and 41 assists in the regular season. On the road to his second Stanley Cup win, he scored 5 goals and 21 assists. Last season, he was named to the All-Star game for the fourth time in his career, came in 10th for the Lady Byng, 8th for the Hart, and 2nd for the Selke trophy.”
