Thanks for joining me tonight, I'm Parker White. Continue to follow for coverage of the NFL season here at VAVEL USA!!!

For the second straight season the Colts have started the season 0-2, can they recover and win the division once again? Time will tell.

The Jets are looking like a surprise team in the AFC in the Todd Bowles era as they've started the season 2-0.

The Colts looked flat in all facets of the game. Despite being consistantly pressured, Andrew Luck was sloppy and the receivers weren't fighting for the football. Once again, the Colts offensive line was bullied and the depleted secondary had no chance against the Jets' skill players.

The Jets defense forced five turnovers (3 INTs, 2 Fumbles), 11 QB hits and 5 passes deflected.

Indianapolis Colts Stat Leaders: Andrew Luck: 21/37 for 250 yards, one TD and three INTs. Frank Gore: 15 rushes for 57 yards. Donte Moncrief: 7 catches for 122 yards and one TD. T.Y. Hilton: 4 catches for 45 yards. Andre Johnson: 3 catches for 27 yards.

New York Jets Stat Leaders: Ryan Fitzpatrick: 22/34 for 244 yards, two TDs and one INT. Chris Ivory: 14 rushes for 57 yards. Bilal Powell: 12 rushes for 38 yards. Brandon Marshall: 7 catches for 101 yards and one TD. Eric Decker: 8 catches for 97 yards and one TD.

The New York Jets defeated the Indianapolis Colts 20-7 on Monday Night Football. New York has started the season 2-0, while the Colts have started 0-2 for the second straight season.

The Colts will start at the 20 yard line to begin the half.

The second half is getting ready to start!!!

Indianapolis will have the ball to start the second half as they look to avoid a shutout at home against the New York Jets.

Luckily, the Colts defense has done a nice job stopping the run and keeping this team in the ballgame, as the offense had no rhythm in the first half.

Andrew Luck has dealt with pressure all night, once again, and the Jets secondary has done a superb job shutting down the Colts wide receivers.

At the moment the Colts are without their top four cornerbacks with Vontae Davis leaving the game. It is unsure if the Pro Bowler will return.

We are 30 minutes away from kickoff between the New York Jets and the Indianapolis Colts!!!

According to ESPN Stats & Info, the Colts are 14-1 when following a loss since drafting Andrew Luck in 2012.

With starter Greg Toler and nickel corner Darius Butler both out for tonight's game, cornerback Jalil Brown will be getting his first start. Expect Pro Bowler Vontae Davis to be defending Brandon Marshall all night.

It has been reported that the Colts' all-time sack leader Robert Mathis is active for tonight's game. Mathis missed all of last season with a torn Achilles. Mathis could be a huge boost to a defense that struggles to get to the quarterback.

At halftime of tonight's game, Jeff Saturday will be inducted into the Indianapolis Colts' Ring of Honor. The All-Pro center spent 13 years as a member of the Indianapolis Colts. Saturday was a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro. He was also a member of the Super Bowl (XLI) team back in 2006.

T.Y. Hilton (knee), Chris Ivory (groin), and Antonio Cromartie (knee) are all expected play tonight on Monday Night Football.

Indianapolis Colts Injury Report: T.Y. Hilton, WR, Questionable (knee). D'Qwell Jackson, LB, Probable (toe). Greg Toler, CB, Out (neck). Robert Mathis, LB, Questionable (Achilles).

New York Jets Injury Report: Chris Ivory, RB, Questionable (groin). Devin Smith, WR, Probable (ribs). Geno Smith, QB, Out (jaw). Antonio Cromartie, CB, Questionable (knee).

That’s exactly what the Jets will do if they want to be the surprise of the AFC in 2015. They don’t have a prolific offense that will terrify opposing defenses on a weekly basis, but they will play defense and establish a running game. As long as Ryan Fitzpatrick, and possibly Geno Smith down the road, can hold onto the football and win the turnover battle, the Jets could be a contending team.

In the first game of the Todd Bowles era in New York, his hard nose defensive philosophy was on display. The Jets’ defensive unit collected five turnovers, four of which were fumbles. “It feels good to get the butterflies out of the way, to get that first one. It wasn’t perfect, by no means, but we did what we had to do to win.”

Owner Jim Irsay would deny those reports saying, “That couldn’t be further from the truth. They have a great relationship. I’ve seen coaches and general manager’s work together since I was 11 years old. I know the dynamic that needs to be there for them to work together. They have a great relationship, and that report is completely false.”

One of the first things mentioned when the Bills bullied the Colts was the alleged reports that head coach Chuck Pagano and general manager Ryan Grigson have been feuding, leading to further speculation that Pagano will be out as head coach after the season.

Indianapolis has controlled the AFC South since its existence in 2002. Of the 13 division titles handed out, the Colts have won nine of them, including two straight. The odds are stacked against the Colts as many teams who start the season 0-1 don’t go on to win the division, however, Indianapolis started the season 0-2 last year and went on to win 10 of their next 12 games.

Newly acquired wide receiver Brandon Marshall performed very well in his debut with the Jets. The veteran receiver was targeted nine times and hauled in six catches for 62 yards; including a one-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to give the Jets a 21-10 lead. Running back Chris Ivory stole the show as he finished the game with 20 carries for 91 yards and two touchdowns.

The two veteran pieces that was supposed to elevate the Colts offense didn't sparkle in their team debut. Andre Johnson was targeted 10 times but only recorded four catches for 24 yards without finding the endzone. While running back Frank Gore was limited to eight carries for a measly 31 yards, In fairness, Gore would be hampered with cramps in the second half and had to deal with the best front seven in football. Nonetheless, these two guys will have to elevate their play in the coming weeks for Indy to regain that strength atop of the AFC.

New York’s temporary starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was very solid in the Jets’ home debut. Fitzpatrick threw 15-of-24 for 179 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. There was nothing sexy about him numbers but he managed the game very well and limited his mistakes with one turnover and avoiding any sacks.

Aside from Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, Andrew Luck might be the best quarterback in the game today. Unfortunately, last week against a stout Buffalo defense, Luck and the Colts offense could not sustain any ounce of success. Luck finished the game going 26-of-49 for 243 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. The franchise quarterback recorded a QBR of 38.7 and averaged only five yards of offense per attempt.

With a new head coach and an uncertainty at the quarterback position, the New York Jets didn’t have the highest of expectations. However, after the first week of the season the Jets are 1-0 as they defeated the Cleveland Browns 31-10 at home. Despite knowing their opponent is in just as low on the totem pole, it was still a convincing win that should breed confidence heading to Indianapolis on a national stage.

Coming into Week 1 of the NFL season, many experts around the league had the Indianapolis Colts as a favorite not only to win a weak AFC South but to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. It’s just one game but they looked far from a Super Bowl contending team against the Buffalo Bills, as they were dominated on both sides of the ball leading to a 27-14 Buffalo win.
