Some games are easier to put away than others. For the New York Giants, they are going to wish they could have put this game away sooner. Just like in week one against the Dallas Cowboys, the Giants gave up a fourth quarter comeback this week against the Atlanta Falcons.

This was largely a defensive match-up as new Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn has done wonders with the formerly leaky Falcons defense. After each team had punted early in the game, the Falcons had a long marching drive down the field. It took 13 plays to get 86 yards and it ended as Tevin Coleman scampered into the end zone.

Josh Brown and Matt Bryant would then both end up with back to back field goals. The Giants then looked down the field as Eli Manning was able to find Odell Beckham Jr. for a 67 yard touchdown reception to tie the game all even at ten a piece.

The Giants would then have the ball as the half was coming to a close and got into position for another Brown field goal as they would take a 13-10 lead into halftime.

The Giants then quickly took advantage of having the ball first in the second half and drove down the field where Larry Donnell would get a ten yard touchdown reception to extend the Giants lead even further. The Giants forced a three and out and drove down to the red zone again. But that's where the momentum took a 180 degree turn and swung in favor of the Falcons. Kroy Biermann sacked Manning and forced a fumble and his teammate, Paul Soliai, was there to jump on the football to force the turnover.

Then after they had the ball and were driving it became the fourth quarter and Leonard Hankerson would be the man who would end up with a touchdown. This brought the Giants lead down to three points. Right after the two minute warning, Matt Ryan had another key pass as Julio Jones would wind up catching a 37 yard pass to get the ball one yard away from the end zone. Devonta Freeman would pound it in from there to give the Falcons the lead and they were up 24-20 and letting their defense give them a chance at the victory.

Eli Manning wouldn't even complete a pass, although they did get it to the 50 yard line because of a Robert Alford pass interference penalty. The Falcons quickly moved to 2-0 with the victory, and the loss drops the Giants to 0-2.
