Once again the regular season is now upon us. When looking for the NFL Rookie of the week, it seemed pretty clear that the writers were going to easily look at the game between the top two picks in the draft before the week. It just had to be a shock that it wasn't Jameis Winston was not the one who shined at home, but instead it was Marcus Mariota who was drafted after him.

Clearly the Tennessee Titans look brilliant now being able to snag him with second overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft. He completed just 13 passes on 16 attempts for a total of 209 yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions. What might be even more impressive is that four different people caught a touchdown pass from Mariota on Sunday. Those four were Kendall Wright, Delanie Walker, Harry Douglas, and Bishop Sankey, who also had his own rushing touchdown as well.

Next up for the Titans will be a trip to face the Cleveland Browns, as it will be two Heisman trophy winning quarterbacks at starter again, as Johnny Manziel should be expected to start as Josh McCown left Sunday's game with a concussion. But Mariota also is the only quarterback in the AFC South who was able to get a victory on Sunday. This is something to keep an eye on as the Titans would clearly love to bounce from a top pick in the draft to being a playoff team in 2015. Could Marcus Mariota pull the rookie feat of winning Rookie of the Year and getting a playoff spot. It hasn't happened for a quarterback since Robert Griffin III burst onto the scene in 2012.

But that is definitely getting ahead of ourselves here, but with Marcus Mariota, the future is indeed looking bright for the Titans in 2015 and beyond.
