Ryan Fitzpatrick returned for his first game since being benched in favor of Ryan Mallett to lead the Houston Texans to a 45-21 win over the Tennessee Titans. Fitzpatrick’s six passing touchdowns broke a Texans' franchise record. Also helpful in the win was DeAndre Hopkins who was the beneficiary of two of Fitzpatrick’s six touchdowns and a career best 238 receiving yards.

As always, J.J. Watt was huge again in the win as he had his third touchdown reception, two sacks, and also forced and recovered a Titans' fumble. The Titans have been dealing with injuries as much as any other team and Zach Mettenberger injured his shoulder in the third quarter and Mettenberger was forced to leave the game in favor of backup Jake Locker. Mettenberger threw for 184 yards and one touchdown before he was injured, and Locker threw for 91 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the quarter and a half that he played.

Up next for the Texans is a road game to Everbank Field to face the 2-10 Jacksonville Jaguars, who beat the Texans twice last season.  Blake Bortles has been struggling trying to adjust to the NFL, and also the Jaguars have been struggling and have had moments of brilliance in all of their struggles.  So, it will be interesting if these Texans can walk into Everbank and come out with a win.
