Coming into this week, no west coast team had ever won a game at M&T Bank Stadium. However, the San Diego Chargers changed that pattern as they defeated the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 34-33.

After throwing an interception early in the game, Philip Rivers came back and engineered multiple drives into the red zone. Some of those drives ended in touchdowns and some ended in field goals, but at the end of the day the Chargers had won 34-33 and secured what could prove to be a very pivotal tiebreaker for AFC Wild Card seeding. Though, with four games left to play and the Broncos only one game ahead with two division games left, it is highly possible that if the Broncos lose a game and the Chargers can win their remaining games that they might be the next AFC West Champions.

The Chargers were down by 10 points with 6:13 left to play when the defense came up huge and held Baltimore to a field goal on their final drive. Rivers then engineered the game winning drive to go down the field 80 yards and hit Eddie Royal, after a pass interference call on the Ravens Anthony Levine. The pass interference call was met with some controversy by people who think it should have gone the other way on Malcom Floyd. The call went the Chargers way, and it gave the Chargers the chance they needed to win the game. Philip Rivers  threw for 383 yards and three touchdowns. Two of his touchdown tosses went to Keenan Allen who hauled in 11 receptions for a total of 121 yards.
