So far in the 2014 season there's been three coaches that are on the hot seat. So far in 2014, the Oakland Raiders have already fired there head coach Dennis Allen. They've been winless this season. These three head coaches are on the hot seat. They could be fired at the end of the season. For these three the team is getting worse. Also, they have started to lose control of the team. Those three head coaches are Marc Trestman, Chicago Bears, Rex Ryan of the New York Jets and Tom Coughlin of the New York Giants.

Coming in to the 2014 season the Chicago Bears were expected to be a good team. The Jay Cutler and Matt Forte combination was going to make the Bears a playoff team. 2014 though has been quite the opposite. The team has been slowly declining. The team has been getting blown out. Week seven is when this all started. Sunday night's 55 to 14 against the division rivals Green Bay Packers. The Bears have given up 50 points back to back for the first time since 1923. Clearly Marc Trestman is going to be fired at the end.

Rex Ryan has been on the hot seat since last season. When the New York Jets decided not to fire him people were stunned. It's been four plus years since the Jets last made the playoffs. The Jets had been falling a part since 2013. In 2014, it was no different. The Jets have a quarterback issue. The team has a good enough roster not to play so poorly. It didn't help Rex Ryan's job when he chooses rookie Geno Smith over veteran Michael Vick. There's no doubt that Rex Ryan will be fired at the end of this season he's completely lost the team.

Tom Coughlin has won two Super Bowls with the New York Giants in 2008 and 2011. Since, then the team has been anemic. Sometimes they play really well others not. They didn't start well this season. They picked it up and started playing better. However, that didn't last long because they're playing poorly again. The Giants record is three and six. If they miss the playoffs, it will be the Giants missing the playoffs for the third consecutive year.

If these three coaches don't turn it around they won't be there in 2015. A few others head coaches to be possibly on the lookout for firings are Marvin Lewis of the Cincinnati Bengals and Gus Bradley of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
