Mark Sanchez (remember him?) came in today for the Eagles as Nick Foles went down due to injury. Sanchez came in and threw for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Eagles defeated the Texans 31-21 on Sunday.
Maclin led receivers with 6 catches for 158 yards, including a 59 yard touchdown in the first quarter and Lesean Mccoy had 23 carries for 117 yards. Chris Polk added a rushing touchdown. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 2 touchdowns in the loss.
The Texans now fall to 1-5 on the year in another dissappointing season it seems. The Texans, led by Ryan Fitzpatrick, have a top-knotch defense but an injury-prone run game and not a great pass game. Arian Foster went down with an injury today again.
Star draft pick Jadeveon Clowney was on social media during the game, and speculations are coming out as to what and when his punishment will be for doing so.
The Texans will go on bye, so hopefully for fantasy owners, Foster's status for week 1 will be good to go. The Eagles will go on to play on Monday Night Football against the Panthers next week.
