7:37 PM ET: Julius Thomas has been the touchdown machine though for the Broncos. He has 9 touchdowns on the season. It's easy to see what Peyton can do when he has a 6'5" 250 pound former basketball player to go get the ball in the red zone. Of course he knows how to use him.
7:34 PM ET: Wes Welker is healthy and no longer on suspension too, and he scored his first touchdown of the season last week against the 49ers.
7:30 PM ET: Don't forget about the former Steeler, Emmanuel Sanders either. He only has 1 touchdown but has been a consistent play maker for Peyton Manning when he needs to get a first down or a clutch play.
7:27 PM ET: Demaryius Thomas started the year off slowly, but has been doing rather well already having 662 yards and 6 touchdowns this season.
7:24 PM ET: Another major thing to consider is that Peyton Manning has so many different weapons at his disposal.
7:19 PM ET: When it comes to the opposing backfield, expect to see a healthy dose of Ronnie Hillman. The Broncos running back started the season on the bench, but his play has surpassed the former Badger Montee Ball.
7:15 PM ET: Donald Brown has been ruled out of tonight's game with a concussion, which means that Brandon Oliver will make his third straight start since Ryan Matthews is also still out with an MCL issue.
7:11 PM ET: Philip Rivers has been great again under the tutelage of Mike McCoy. He has a 17-3 Touchdown to interception ratio, 1,961 passing yards, and is completing 67.4% of his passes.
7:06 PM ET: This game is somewhat of a reunion for Chargers Head Coach Mike McCoy. He was the former Offensive Coordinator for the Broncos before taking the Head Coaching duties in San Diego. Last year he took them to the playoffs and is eager to do so again in this year, as the Chargers are off to an excellent start with a 5-2 record.
7:02 PM ET: X-factors for the Chargers are Philip Rivers and running back Brandon Oliver. Oliver stepped up this season in place of an injured Ryan Matthews. Oliver has played well this year and the Chargers will need him to consistently gain yards and to continue to move the chains when necessary. Rivers will have to out-perform Peyton Manning if the Chargers are going to win this game.
6:58 PM ET: Thursday night football games have been tough to look this season. Prior to last week's games, the games on Thursday night were decided by 17 points or more. The last time the Chargers played in Denver, in December of last season, the Chargers won 27-20.
6:53 PM ET: Rivers comes into Thursday night looking solid all season. His weapons are some of the best he's ever had. Royal and Gates both look like they've resurrected their careers and adding in Keenan Allen helps a lot. The Broncos won't likely be able to run the ball against a tough Chargers defense, same goes for the Chargers run game. The pass game should be fun to look in this matchup.

6:49 PM ET: The Chargers and Broncos are both arguably the best teams in the AFC so far this season. The Chargers secondary is shaky because of injuries. Flowers left last Sundays game and Verrett was already out of the game with a shoulder injury. They'll have the task of facing Peyton Manning. The Broncos offense has a clear edge against a secondary that seems to be a bit injured defense. The game is going to be defined by Philip Rivers and Peyton Manning.
6:44 PM ET: "It's very humbling. It's taken a lot of hard work. A lot of people have helped me to this point," said Manning on breaking the total touchdown record.
6:39 PM ET: Last week, Peyton Manning, and the Broncos in general, put on a show against the San Francisco 49ers. Manning broke Brett Favre's total touchdown record, and continued to shine as the Broncos dominated the 49ers 42-17.
6:35 PM ET: The odds on OddsShark.com have Denver as 7.5 point favorites tonight at home. According to OddsShark.com, San Diego comes into tonight's matchup 6-0 against the spread in their last 6 games. The Chargers are up for a big challenge tonight against Denver.
6:30 PM ET: In a Thursday night matchup, the Denver Broncos take on the San Diego Chargers at home in Denver. The game takes place at 8:30 PM EST and should be the best Thursday night game this season, not that that's hard to do.
