Every team on the road looks to score early and take the crowd out of it. The Baltimore Ravens took that philosophy to a whole different level on Sunday as Ravens' quarterback Joe Flacco launched a career high five touchdown passes in the first 16 minutes of the game, leading the Ravens to a 48-17 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On offense, the Ravens scored in bunches and it was fast and furious. All of the frustrations the Ravens had with the Indianapolis Colts last week was taken out on the Buccaneers.

-Flacco finds wide receiver Torrey Smith for a touchdown. Ravens lead Buccaneers 7-0.

-Flacco finds Torrey Smith again for a touchdown and Ravens increase their lead over the Buccaneers 14-0.

-Flacco finds wide receiver Kamar Aiken for a touchdown. Ravens lead the Buccaneers 21-0.

-Flacco finds wide receiver Michael Campanaro for a touchdown. Ravens extend their lead over the Buccaneers 28-0.

-Flacco finds wide receiver Steve Smith for a touchdown. Ravens lead the Buccaneers 35-0 in the second quarter.

To top it off, the Ravens also rushed for 169 yards on the day. The Ravens had a 100 yard receiver in Steve Smith, a 300 yard passer in Flacco and a 100 yard rusher in Justin Forsett.

“At the end of the day those are just stats,” Flacco noted after the game via Baltimoreravens.com. “That stuff feels good and looks great and all that, but it really doesn’t mean anything. It’s all about winning football games. That’s what we came here to do and that’s what we did.”

Torrey Smith finally got out of season long slump in terms of production with four catches for 51 yards and two touchdowns. It was promising to see Torrey Smith work the middle of the field, as there has been criticism that Torrey Smith has had issues under Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's scheme.

The entire day from all phases of the game for the Ravens is exactly what the doctor ordered. The Ravens have traditionally had issues starting off quickly on the road, making this performance impressive and encouraging for the future. Also, the Ravens shutting out the Buccaneers offense in the first half is something that could springboard the team into a different dimension.

The Ravens will need to keep it up as they take on the high scoring Atlanta Falcons' offense in Week 7.
