Breaking news out of the greatest city in the world! The Texans have a brand new coach, to usher out the Gary Kubiak era. It's not Lovie Smith, Art Briles, Kevin Sumlin, or any of them fools! The new head coach of the Texan is Bill O' Brien.

The much needed spark in Houston has arrived. In a season where Gary Kubiak's offense was so predictable, the Texans have all the keys in their hands. The first pick in the daft is coming fo Houston. A very easy schedule that only features three teams who went over .500 last season. And now a true leader who knows sucsess when it is upon him.

What really propelled this signing is this: Ken Whisenhunt. The Texans were also very content to interview Whisenhunt, but because the Chargers made the playoffs, he would be unavailable until January 12th, and by then, O'Brien was most likely be off the market, probably to Detroit, where many speculate he might go.

Now the question in the beholder is your roster. You have a capable back in Arian Foster. Capable recievers in Andre Johnson, DeAndre Hopkins, Keshawn Martin, and Devier Posey when healthy. Capable tight ends in Owen Daniels and Ryan Griffen. The question lies in the offensive line and quarterback.

Duane Brown and Chris Myers are very talented at their positions. The rest of the line needs to be checked out, and some offensive linemen in the draft much be required. A big time apology should be given to Ben Jones and Derek Newton. The new O' Brien offense isn't going to be very keen you.

At quarterback, O' Brien likes a big boy. Sadly, Case Keenum is pretty short. But he can get it done with a full off-season and a ton of work. On te other hand, Matt Schaub fits the criteria of a quarterback O' Brien likes, but Schaub could be gone soon. Wanna looks in the draft Maziel is short, and Bridgewater doesn't weigh much. Bring in A.J McCarron or sick with what you have.

Penn State is going to miss O' Brien. In the two years of work he's put in, a 15-9 record is very, VERY respectable for a team in turmoil. And even before that, O' Brien was a coach for New England. Obviously, he knows a really good system that will work in Houston.

The final quetion for O' Brien will be the rest of the coaching staff. Rick Dennision, the offensive coordinator, doesn't get noticed very often, and deservidly so. As for Wade Phillips, he's not head coach material at all, we all know this. But dang Wade Phillips has the defense rocking! Give those guys an offense that actually works, and the Bulls on Parade are back in form!

But it's time to be realistic and stop dreaming. Once again, Bill O' Brien is walking into disaster. But in his eyes, this may be the most beautiful disaster ever witnessed by Bill O' Brien. This is a very fixable team. A couple of easy moves, and the Texans are back in the hunt for the AFC South. To go along with it, give the Texans a couple of years, and their name could be mentioned next to the words 'Super Bowl" once again.
