University of Arizona legend, Jason Terry, will be coming back to his Alma-Mater but this time as an assistant coach, as he will be joining Sean Miller's staff.

Terry, who was a NBA Champion with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011, was an assistant general manager for the Texas Legends in the G-League.

“My family and I are excited to be part of the incredible Tucson community again, where our story began,” Terry said in a statement. “I am looking forward to joining Coach Miller and staff to develop student-athletes that have a passion for education, basketball excellence and community leadership.”

'The Jet' played at Arizona from 1995-99 and even won the NCAA Championship in 1997.

After his time at Tucson, Terry played for six teams in the NBA from 1999-2018. He also was the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year in 2009 and averaged 13.4 points in 1,410 regular season games.

“We are excited to welcome Jason Terry, his wife, Johnyika, and their daughters to our program and the community.” Coach Sean Miller said in a release.
