When these two teams met in February, the Tigers of Auburn would walk away with the 81-77 in Baton Rouge. This time around, the outcome would be much different.

For LSU, the big play would come from a big man. Jarell Martin. Martin is a little more famous after his in-game between the legs dunk last week against Florida, had yet another big game for the Tigers. The 6-foot-10 sophomore ended the game with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Yet another double-double for the future NBA player.

As for Jordan Mickey, who averages a double-double, he couldn't quite put up the numbers that Tiger fans have gotten quite used to. Mickey finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Mickey is averaging 3.8 blocks per game which leads the NCAA. Mickey is 2nd all-time in blocks at LSU behind a one Shaquille O'Neal.

The last performance to take note of, is the one from freshman guard Jalyn Patterson. Patterson used his start and ample minutes to set new career highs. Patterson's 16 points and 7 assists were both personal career bests for the young guard.

For Auburn, who let this one get away from them, there wasn't many positives to take away from this game. Guard KT Harrell had the second highest point total for the home team Tigers. In 31 minutes, he had 14 points. KT would end up being one of two Auburn players to score in double figures.

The other double digit scorer for Auburn would come in the form of 6-foot-7, 278 pound beast Cinmeon Bowers. The huge forward finished the game with a team high 16 points and 6 rebounds.

Up next for LSU, they will take on Ole Miss at home in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. As for Auburn, they take on another tough opponent in the form of the Texas A&M Aggies.
