Bad shooting looms over Cal as the Golden Bears drop to the Cardinals 69-59 in a Pac-12 matchup on Wednesday night. Chasson Randle dropped 25 points on 8-14 shooting, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Anthony Brown contributed 18 points and 9 rebounds, and Stefan Nastic had 15 points and 9 rebounds.

The Bears shot a horrific 35% from the field, and 37% from three. Stanford shot 48% and 50% respectively. It's amazing the Bears only lost by 10 in this game. Tyrone Wallace led the team with 14 points and 9 rebounds, David Kravish had 11 points and 9 rebounds, and Jabari Bird had 8 points.

The Bears drop to 1-4 now in Pac-12 play. After starting off so hot by beating Syracuse and losing to Texas in the final of a preseason tournament, it seems as if the Bears struggles shouldn't have happened. A part of that was Bird being hurt for a while but the offense is clearly struggling. Shooting 35% from the field will not win any games.

The game was even at 39 just a few minutes into the second half, but would pull their lead to 7 after Rosco Allen made two costless throws. Stanford would increase that to 10 by the end of the game.
