In one of the most highly anticipated of the college basketball season so far, #4 Duke took down #2 Wisconsin in Madison, at the Kohl Center by a score of 80-70.

The Blue Devils shot an astounding 65% from the field against a very good defensive team. Even from beyond the three point line, although they shot just 12 three point attempts, Badger head coach Bo Ryan had this to say about Duke's shooting after the game, "Yeah, I would say they hit some tough shots ... but to have that many do it, that's just not fair. They were lights out."

Jahlil Okafor continues his dominating ways as he is easily one of the best players in all of college basketball. The freshman had an off night in the scoring column as he finished the night with 13 points but he was very good on the defensive side of the ball, helping protect the rim. However, it was fellow freshman Tyus Jones who had the best performance for Coach K as the guard came away with 22 points including four assists and six rebounds as well. But it was really the collective effort that they should be proud of as they clicked everywhere on the offensive side and made life difficult for the Badgers while Wisconsin was on offense.

It's not like Wisconsin played badly, they were just outplayed. Traevon Jackson lead all scorers with 25 points as he was only 7-12 from the floor, but was a perfect 8 out of 8 from the charity strike while draining all three of his attempts from beyond the arc. However, it was perhaps Frank Kaminsky who put up the most well-rounded performance of the evening, for the Badgers, as he ended the night with 17 points but grabbed nine total boards, had two assists, and finished with one block tonight. Duke were just a little bit better than their opposition when all was said and done and were rewarded for their efforts both on the offensive and the defensive side of things.

The Duke Blue Devils will take on Elon at home on Monday evening while the Wisconsin Badgers will have to gather themselves up very quickly as they take on the Marquette Golden Eagles this coming Saturday.
