FINAL: LSU 23 Texas A&M 17

Everyone enjoy the rest of the Thanksgiving holiday with their family, and have a great night!

Well, a heck of a game for the final game of the season.  Both teams will be in bowls, even after a disappointing season for both.  LSU finishes at 8-4 and A&M at 7-5.

Rushing Yards: LSU 384 Texas A&M 84

What a game, I hate that A&M never got a chance to get a chance to score, but LSU dominated the game nevertheless.

One other football game going on tonight: the showdown in Austin where TCU leads Texas 20-3 at halftime.

LSU has totally dominated the ball on both sides in pretty much every category.  The Tigers will also receive the ball to start the second half.  It will be huge for the Aggies if they can stop them on the opening drive.

2nd Q 13:00: Fournette runs for 3 yard on 1st down.  2nd Down and 7: Fournette runs for 10 and an LSU first down.

2nd Q 13:39: 3rd and 1: Jennings' pass complete for a first down.

Fun fact: LSU is the only team in the SEC west that Texas A&M has not defeated.

1st Q 9:35: Aggies take advantage of the LSU interception and take the 7-0 lead.  That interception pretty much sums up the season for LSU's offense.  The quarterback play has been pretty poor.

1st Q 9:52: Two quick plays and now it's 3rd and 3 for the Aggies at LSU's 42.  Play: Handoff to Williams, and he breaks lose he's gone! Touchdown Texas A&M, Aggies strike first.

1st Q 14:33: 2nd and 1: Incomplete pass.  3rd and 1: Hand off to Williams, a run for four yards and an Aggies first down. 1st down and 10: Quick screen to Williams for a gain of 3. 2nd and 7: short screen again where the receiver is taken down for a three yard loss! 3rd and 10: Allen pass incomplete. 4th down and punt coming up.

1st Q 15:00: Well, now the headsets are fixed.  Let's go.  First play: Screen pass, Brandon Williams takes it for a 9 yard gain.

1st Q 15:00: Aggies start from their 25.  Well, this is interesting.  The headsets for LSU are not working, therefore A&M must take off their headsets.  This is awkward.

A&M wins the toss and elects to receive.  It's go time.

Getting closer to gametime.  Now it's time for you the readers to make your predictions.  Send me your LSU-A&M predictions to me on twitter @THE_GENERAL13

Approximately 30 minutes away from kickoff, Kyle Field is getting packed!

LSU Tigers - Texas A&M Aggies are bowl eligible, but bragging rights are on the line.  With this being the new Thanksgiving day rivalry for both, this is the start of a sure to be hatrid filled rivalry for years to come.  Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the better 7-4 team of them all? It's LSU.  It's A&M.  And it's gameday.  Stay tuned folks, this will be a thriller.

Then there's Texas A&M.  Through the first five or six games of the season, Kenny Hill was for sure a Heisman candidate.  However, his production dropped and after the destruction by Alabama, freshman Kyle Allen was named the starter and has been since.  Allen has thrown for 884 yards and eleven touchdowns (five interceptions).  While on paper his stats are inferior to Hill's, he has shown promising signs with a strong arm.  How will he do in this LSU Tigers - Texas A&M Aggies Live in pass rush?

Quarterback has continued to be a question this season for LSU.  Anthony Jennings has started all but one game, but has not been very productive.  Jennings has thrown for 1,353 yards while only completing 48% of his passes.  He has only nine touchdowns on the season, with six interceptions.  Brandon Harris is expected to be the future of the LSU offense, will he get any touches tonight in the Live LSU Tigers vs Aggies of Texas A&M game

LSU was really depleted with injuries its last game vs. Arkansas, and with the two weeks off look for the Tigers to get some key players back: namely left guard Vadal Alexander

It's really an intriguing match up; I'm looking for LSU to put up huge rushing numbers and A&M to put up a lot of passing yards.

LSU and A&M have met twice in SEC matchups, with LSU winning both meetings.  But it's a new season, with completely different teams.

Both teams have impressive wins over top 15 teams.  A&M defeated Auburn a few weeks back in a shootout, and LSU beat Ole Miss in a SEC old fashioned physical football game.

For Les Miles and the young LSU Tigers, it continues to be a growing up season.  Two weeks ago, they were manhandled by Arkansas where they had nothing going for them offensively.  LSU, as always, relies on their running game to get points up on the board.  That's probably why they were shut out last game, as they were held to under fifty yards of rushing.  One promising note for the season is freshman runningback Leonard Fournette, as he has accumalated 745 yeards on the season with 7 touchdowns.  Look for LSU to pound the ball, as A&M's run defense has not been very strong this season.

This is Kevin Sumlin's third season at Texas A&M, where he has accumalated a 27-10 record thus far.  The season for the Aggies started off promising, as their then quarterback Kenny Hill led A&M to a huge win in Columbia, South Carolina against the Gamecocks.  Fast forward ten weeks, and Kenny Hill is sitting the bench; the Aggies are sitting fifth in the SEC west with a 7-4 record.  Look for the Aggies to try and use freshman Kyle Allen and air it out on the Tiger defense.

LSU is coming off an embarassing game, where they were shut out by the up-and-coming Arkansas Razorbacks 17-0.

This matchup is between two teams who have had a disappointing season thus far.  A&M is coming off a heartbreaker to Missouri two weeks ago, where they fell short 34-27.

Good afternoon folks, and Happy Thanksgiving! Welcome to College Station, Texas for the intriguing matchup between the LSU Tigers vs Aggies of Texas A&M (7-4) vs (7-4). This is Kaleb Isenhour bringing this game's LIVE updates to you.
