Trevor Knight threw for 308 yards and two touchdowns using both his feet and arm. He helped No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners (3-0) beat the Tennessee Volunteers (2-1) 34-10 on Saturday evening.

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops got the best of the Southeastern Conference again. The Sooners beat SEC member Alabama in the Sugar Bowl earlier in 2014.

Knight led the offense for the Sooners. He went 20 for 33 for 308 yards and one touchdown. He also threw an interception picked off by Tennessee's LaDarrell McNeil. Keith Ford rushed 15 times for 56 yards and a touchdown. Sterling Shepard had a huge night as he caught the ball five times for 109 yards, but did not find the end zone. 

Oklahoma had 454 total yards on offense and piled up 21 first downs. They showed that they deserve to be a top five team in college football. There biggest lead came at the beginning of the third quarter when they were up 27-7.

Tennessee was able to put up 313 total yards on offense, a majority coming through the air. Quarterback Justin Worley threw for 201 yards on 21 for 44 passing. He threw one touchdown and two interceptions. Jalen Hurd was able to produce using his feet. Hurd rushed 14 times for 97 yards. Josh Smith received the ball from Worley five times for 58 yards and a touchdown. The offense was not able to produce enough points to keep up with the Sooners defense, which sealed the game with Julian Wilson's 100 yard interception return for a touchdown with under 11 minutes remaining.

No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners will travel to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers next Saturday at 7:30 PM EST. 

The Tennessee Volunteers will have a week off. Then they will travel to face the No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday the 27th. The time is to be determined.
