Steven Patrick-

This game seems most capable to be a blowout. Michigan State has the best defense in the country, but playing in the B1G conference isn't saying very much, especially this year. Look for the defense of Stanford to keep MSU out of the endzone the entire game. Actually, look Stanford's defense SCORE more than Michigan State's offense.

Prediction: 28-3 Stanford

Sean DiSesa-

Stanford are the defending Rose Bowl champions, and are looking to make it two in a row. In the last 7 Rose Bowls pitting Pac 12 teams against Big 10 squads, the Pac 12 has won 6. Michigan State has a tough defense, but they will have a very rough time containing Stanford's star running back Tyler Gaffney. Stanford are 6.5 favorite, but I like them to win by a field goal.

Prediction: 27-24 Stanford

Matthew Dixon-

Expect both teams to try and stop the run; Tyler Gaffney of Stanford, and Jeremy Langford of MSU. Both teams rank in the top 15 in run defense. Stanford always seems to play their best in big games, as they are 7-0 against ranked teams in 2013. Let's go with the Cardinal to beat the Spartans, but only by a slight margin.

Prediction: 21-14 Stanford

Ben Anderson-

For some reason, everyone seems to have forgotten how Connor Cook, of MSU, whupped Ohio State defense a few weeks ago. Yes, MSU lost their big man on defense in Max Bullough, and yes they play in the relatively weak Big Ten. However, no one can question how good this team is. They still have Darquez Dennard. They still have Jeremy Langford. Look Cook outplay Stanford's QB, Kevin Hogan. Michigan State will win in a thriller.

Prediction: 27-24 Michigan State
