INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- The Indiana Pacers will travel to Toronto to make their season debut against the Toronto Raptors on October 28th. The 2012-13 regular season was the last time that the Pacers made their season debut in Toronto, which happened to be the season when they made their first of back-to-back Eastern Conference Finals appearances. A lot has changed since then, but the Pacers do have the talent necessary to make a run for the Eastern Conference crown. Tip-off against the Raptors is at 7:30 P.M. Eastern on October 28th.

The Pacers' home debut is on October 29th against the Memphis Grizzlies. This should be a game full of motivation for the returning Pacers players from the 2014-15 season. Memphis was the reason why the Pacers failed to make the playoffs last season, as they beat the Pacers in a must-win game during their season finale. However, that loss gave the Pacers better draft position to draft Myles Turner and Joseph Young. Tip-off against the Grizzlies is on October 29th at 7:00 P.M. Eastern. This will also be an opportunity for the home crowd to see Indianapolis native Mike Conley

Monta Ellis will have his chance at revenge against the Dallas Mavericks on December 16th (home) and March 12th (away). The Mavericks didn't even make an effort to bring back Ellis after he opted out of his player option. Ellis was the best player on the Mavericks for his entire tenure with the team, as he helped lead one of the most effecient offenses in Dallas. That should be plenty of reason to try and get back at that franchise. It may be just a business, but the Mavericks basically told Ellis, "Hey we understand that you were our best player while you were here, but we want to sign players that we think are better than you.
