#1 Re-sign Jimmy Butler

This is obviously the biggest move the Bulls must make. Butler is a young piece the Bulls need to hold on to. He won Most Improved Player and formed a good backcourt duo with Derrick Rose. The Bulls just recently offered Jimmy Butler a max qualifying offer and he is reportedly leaning towards signing it. If he can sign the five-year deal, it will help Chicago down the long run when the new TV deal kicks in and the salary cap raises. If the Bulls can keep Butler at a solid price, he can be the future shooting guard the Bulls have always wanted.

#2 Figure out crowded frontcourt issues.

With the Bulls drafting Bobby Portis, this now creates a logjam at the four and five positions and some moves will have to be made for sure. Unless the Bulls view Portis as a project and won't play him much and let him learn until Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol's contracts are up and he can step in. But I think after the whole "Thibs never plays rookies and let them develop on the court" saga, I think Hoiberg will be more inclined to play the former Razorback. The Bulls must decide what they are going to do with specfically Taj Gibson or Noah. Rumors say that they are shopping Noah and Gibson since the trade deadline so it will be interesting to see if they do move one of the two.

#3 Find a good backup point guard for Derrick Rose.

Aaron Brooks, Nate Robinson, D.J Augstin were all great point guards for the Bulls but they were bad on the defensive end due to their size. The Bulls need a solid backup point guard this offseason. They have been linked to the likes of Rodney Stuckey, Jeremy Lin and others and the Bulls need to give Derrick Rose more backup coming into next season.
