The first big deal was the Dragic brothers being traded to the Miami Heat for Danny Granger, John Salmons, and two first-round draft choices. Phoenix received a large return for the two brothers, who are going to Miami, a team on their list. The Pelicans also made out like bandits, getting Norris Cole, Justin Hamilton, and Shawne Williams for Salmons.

The next big trade was the Brandon Knight and Michael Carter-Williams four-team deal. The Suns received Brandon Knight to play alongside Eric Bledsoe after dealing Thomas (more on that in a minute) and Dragic. In addition, the Suns also got Kendall Marshall from Milwaukee. The Bucks obtained Michael Carter-Williams from Philadelphia to replace Knight, in addition to Miles Plumlee and Tyler Ennis from Phoenix. Philadelphia would receive the Lakers' first-round draft pick in the deal, which is top-five protected.

The next three-team trade was the Reggie Jackson to Detroit trade. The Pistons would acquire Jackson for Kyle Singler and D.J. Augustin, who are both going to Oklahoma City along with Steve Novak and Enes Kanter from Utah. Utah would receive Kendrick Perkins, Grant Jerrett, and a protected future first-round pick in the deal from Oklahoma City, and a future second-round pick from Detroit.

The next big deal was by far the most simple. It was a straight up swap of Thaddeus Young going from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Brooklyn Nets for Kevin Garnett. No other players or picks were involved in the trade.

Another big deal, the first of the day, was Aaron Afflalo as well as Alonzo Gee from the Denver Nuggets going to Portland for Thomas Robinson, Will Barton, Victor Claver, and a lottery protected first-round pick in 2016.

The Celtics also had a big day, trading Tayshaun Prince to the Pistons for Jonas Jerebko and Luigi Datome, as well as their bigger deal acquiring Isaiah Thomas for Marcus Thornton and a first-round draft choice in 2016.

Philadelphia also had a busy day, in addition to the MCW trade mentioned earlier. They traded K.J. McDaniels to Houston for Isiah Canaan and a second rounder, as well as acquiring JaVale McGee and a first-round draft pick (top-18 protected) for the rights to Cenk Akyol who goes to Denver in the deal.

In a one for one swap, the Washington Wizards gave up Andre Miller and acquired Ramon Sessions from the Sacramento Kings.

The last deal that hasn't been mentioned yet is probably the smallest deal, and that is the Knicks giving up Pablo Prigioni to the Houston Rockets for Alexey Shved and two second-round draft choices.

Hopefully this helped straighten everything out for you guys and helps everything make a little more sense now that the rush at the end of the deadline is over. VAVEL has analysis and more coverage on all these trades, so check out the other articles as well.
