Michael Beasley has reached an agreement on a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. Beasley’s deal is a non-guaranteed, training camp contract.

Beasley was drawing interest from several other teams. However, only the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs worked him out this summer, but both teams did not show the willingness to sign the 6-year veteran.

The Grizzlies will be Beasley’s fourth NBA team if is able to make the roster. He played for the Miami Heat last season, averaging 7.9 points and 3.1 rebounds in limited minutes.

The former second overall pick has become a risky choice for teams due to his off-court issues and inability to cooperate with his coaches. Though, if Memphis is able to get Beasley to focus on basketball and avoid knucklehead moves, he could provide plenty of scoring and versatility off the bench.

The Grizzlies have pushed their roster to 19 players, with 14 guaranteed and 5 non-guaranteed players. Michael Beasley will have to battle Earl Clark and many others for the final roster spot, meaning he would really need to impress the Memphis Grizzlies coaching staff to make the team.
