According to LakersNation.com, the Los Angeles Lakers are expected to work out James Nunnally this week. Nunnally is not the only player being worked out by the Lakers. In recent weeks, the Lakers also worked out Michael Beasley. Beasley has already had two workouts with Los Angeles. Meanwhile, for Nunnally, this will be his first with the team.

Nunnally is an undrafted, 6-foot-7 forward from UC Santa Barbara. He has played for the Dallas Mavericks D-League affiliate, Texas Legends, and the Bakersfield Jam who are affiliated with the Phoenix Suns. After his D-League stints, Nunnally was rewarded with two different 10-day contracts, one with the Atlanta Hawks and the other with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Lakers can only have 15 players on the roster when season starts and only 20 when training camp begins. Currently, the Los Angeles Lakers have 13 fully guaranteed players and one non-guaranteed.
