The Los Angeles Lakers are not finished with their off-season moves yet. They held a costless agent workout Wednesday afternoon highlighted by Michael Beasley, who has already had one workout with the Lakers before. Seven other costless agents also worked out for the Lakers, according to USA Today's Sam Amick.

The Miami Heat are reportedly not interested in bringing back Beasley. Miami took a chance on Beasley last season, giving him a one-year deal last September.

Beasley had a decent season with the Heat, but the reason Miami does not want to retain him is because the organization is unhappy with his lack of maturity and commitment.

Beasley, a former second overall pick, was drafted in 2008 by the Heat. Unfortunately, Beasley's career has been a disappointment due to immature antics on and off the court. The Lakers would be taking a high risk with Beasley, but he could pay off if he is willing to focus on basketball.

Beasley is a versatile combo forward with a stellar mid-range jump shot. He can ball handle and attack the rim as well. Beasley will certainly add depth to the Lakers frontcourt.

According to USA Today Sports, the other seven players present during the Lakers workout session were Toney Douglas, Dexter Pittman, Greg Stiemsma, Bobby Brown, Malcolm Lee, Daniel Orton, and Ben Hansbrough.

Douglas and Brown have already signed a deal in China, but have an NBA-out on their contracts. Douglas would have to opt out in the next three days, though, and would only consider joining the Lakers after the conclusion of the CBA season, agent David Falk told USA Today Sports.

Greg Stiemsma would be a terrific addition for the Lakers if they were to sign him. The weakest position for the Los Angeles Lakers, going into the season, is their center position. Steimsma can provide much needed size and rebounding at that position.

There is no indication when the Lakers will make a decision on one of these costless agents, but Michael Beasley continues to be a heavy favorite for the team.
