One thing that has already been reported today, is that LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, has been meeting with teams around the league with the availability of LeBron James and his costless agency, getting the feelers from the initial teams. This was something that was reported originally here, by Bryan Castillo.

@ramonashelburne reports that Mitch Kupchak flying to CLE to meet with LeBron's agent Rich Paul

And now Mitch Kupchak is flying to Cleveland to meet with Rich Paul to try to woo his client to Los Angeles. Previously, the rumors were out that James might meet up with the other Los Angeles franchise, the Clippers, but this would be a major steal if LeBron took his talents to Venice Beach. Don't forget that the Lakers have very little on the cap for this year already as well, and people will take a pay cut to play with LeBron, that is for certain. The Lakers have slightly over $35 million on the books this season. Also, they could possibly field a lineup with superstar potential. Steve Nash at Point Guard, a healthy Kobe Bryant at Shooting Guard, possibly Carmelo Anthony at Small Forward, LeBron plays Power Forward, and bring back Pau Gasol at a discount to be the small ball center.

This just has to give Miami Heat President Pat Riley nightmares, as he is trying to reassemble the team in Miami, but the way that things are going it just doesn't appear like the Heat will try to go back to the NBA Finals for the 5th straight season because LeBron is shopping around for other teams. The Los Angeles Lakers would like to take him off the market and surround him with talent. Everyone knows that the Lakers put talent on the court and just have to find the right person to put it together, and LeBron went to Miami to have talent put around him. Does he doubt Pat Riley enough after they amnestied a key player from their 2013 Championship team in Mike Miller? It looks highly unlikely.

The final question is who does LeBron James want to have coach him next year. Is he a fan of David Blatt, the coach of the Cavaliers who has never won an NBA game? Does he trust Rick Carlisle of the Dallas Mavericks, who was able to defeat him in the 2011 NBA Finals? Has Kevin McHale shown that the Rockets are good enough to lure a costless agent like LeBron to go with their current stars? Would he even want to play for a second year coach in Jeff Hornacek in Phoenix? Coaching situations are always changing, and LeBron could definitely have some input into who would be the next coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers will pay top dollar to esnure they get the right coach for the job, but they want the right players on the court first, and they most definitely covet the best player in the current NBA game, LeBron James.
