Brie and Bryan: Future careers
The episode started with a segment from RAW where Stephanie McMahon, one of the principal owners of WWE who represents the Authority, calls out Daniel Bryan who recently underwent emergency neck surgery. When Bryan came out, he found himself in a very hard position as he had to choose between surrendering his WWE world heavy weight championship or seeing his wife lose her job. Brie shocked everyone and quit. She even slapped Stephanie before leaving the ring.
Backstage, the couple met Nikki Bella. Brie told her that Daniel is going to be out of action for 6 to 8 weeks but at least she gets to be his nurse at home now that she quit. Nikki also told them about a rumor circulating on the Internet about Brie being pregnant and that it might be the real reason why she's quitting.
During a lunch with the twins' mom, Brie and Bryan talked about how concerned they were about their future because they don't have a back-up plan. Brianna's mom suggested that they go to her recruiting firm to practice interviews.
The next day, Brie and Bryan were all dressed up and ready for their practice interview. They showed up without résumés and when Daniel was asked about his qualifications, he answered "WWE Champion". The couple realized it would be harder than they thought. Brie said they needed to do more thinking.
Bryan was looking for projects ideas when he and Brie thought about opening an eco friendly Bed and Breakfast. They went to see the place of their choice. Brie thought it was perfect but Bryan thought it was expensive especially with neither of them working and they just bought a house. Brie said she needed to come up with a plan.
Nikki and Brie went out for drinks. Brie decided to tell her about the Bed and Breakfast and asked to borrow money from her and John Cena. Nikki agreed to talk to him because she didn't want to let her sister down.
During lunch with John, Nicole mentioned her sister's idea but his answer was "No". He said that Bryan and Brie have no experience in the business field. He also told her that a lot of family members borrowed money from him, they ended up failing and he lost his money. Nikki said she understood his reasoning and that she was wrong.
Later, Bryan who received a call from John about the loan, was very upset and went to see Brie to blame her for doing it without asking him first. She tried to explain that she did it to help him but he walked away.
When Brie met with her sister, there was tension between them. Brie was mad but Nikki felt it was her fault because she didn't discuss her decision with Bryan before asking for the money. Back at home, Brie apologized to her Bryan. He forgave her and they agreed to make all the big decisions about their future together.
Summer Rae is back
Eva Marie, Natalya and Nikki are backstage watching a match between Adam Rose and Fandango. Layla was at ringside to support Fandango.
After the match, there was a weird chicken standing in the ring. It was Summer Rae wearing a mask. She's back to WWE after filming a movie, "The Marine 4", with The Miz. She started fighting Layla who stole her boyfriend Fandango. Natalya seemed very upset about the return of Summer. They've had a lot of problems in the past two seasons and they obviously can't stand each other. In fact, Summer had problems with all the Total Divas. She causes drama wherever she goes. Nattie and Rosa Mendes were training together in the gym when Summer Rae joined them. Her presence and her good relationship with Rosa made Natalya very uncomfortable. As soon as Summer left, Nattie advised Rosa to stay away from her if she doesn't want to get burned.
Backstage, after a WWE live event, Rosa invited Summer Rae to ride with her and Nattie in their rental car. Nattie was not happy about it.
On the road, Natalya started complaining about her nose and how she's been having trouble breathing which made Summer very upset. She thought Nattie was claiming that it's her fault because she slapped her in the past.
They started yelling at each other but when Summer mentioned TJ, Nattie's husband, she got extremely mad. She stopped the car and pulled Summer Rae out by her hair. Rosa tried to stop them in vain. Each one of them took her luggage and left the car but came back when Rosa started crying and told them they need to get to their destination on time. She also asked them not to say another word during the whole trip.
The next day, Nattie pulled Rosa aside to talk about what happened the previous night. She blamed her for bringing Summer without her consent but Rosa explained that she just wanted them to bond and that she saw a side of Summer she didn't like. The two divas hugged and promised to never bring anyone if one of them wasn't ok with it.
Eva and Jonathan: Wedding drama
Eva Marie and Jonathan were at her family's 4th of July barbeque when her brothers asked about the wedding and whether Jonathan was going to convert or not.
Then when they were sitting at the table, her dad started talking to Jonathan's mom about her son converting. When he asked the couple about the catholic wedding, Eva said she would have it if she could. Jonathan felt like she was "throwing him under the bus" and he left the table. Eva followed him and tried to explain that she just wants to make everyone happy. Eva pulled her dad aside and told him that she feels bad for not having her husband's back but at the same time she doesn't want to disappoint him. Luckily, her dad said that he supports her and only wants her to be happy with Jonathan, which made her very happy. She then went to see Jonathan to tell him that they can have the wedding they want so they kissed and agreed to always stick together.
Brie and Bryan are very concerned about their future. Bryan's injury was an awakening for the couple because they realized that their WWE careers could end up any moment and they need to have a back-up plan. They have to take their time because they are inexperienced and doing something without taking enough time to think might cause the opposite of what they expect and they might end up wasting all the money they saved. Hopefully not.
Summer Rae and Natalya obviously hate each other and they can't make peace. However, Nattie's relationship with Rosa is developing in a good way.
Eva and Jonathan never seem to spend a drama costless day with Eva's family, either because the couple is hiding secrets or because the family is too demanding. This leaves her in a tough spot as she always finds herself torn between her husband and family. Luckily this time, her dad understood that her happiness with Jonathan is all that matters and that the two should be able to make their own decisions.
