While professional wrestlers who perform week in, week out for tens of thousands of people receive the props they deserve, those backstage in the offices of WWE are often less appreciated.

It has been reported by F4Wonline.com that the writing team will be responsible for a huge amount when 2016 is finished and the future plans for some big events may have been let slip.

Overtime

The writing of WWE has been known to anger and upset some fans, not content with the current direction the company is heading in, although the following notes may offer some sympathy towards the team.

The writing staff are said to be responsible for 580 hours of first-run programming, this includes the WWE Network when 2016 is all said and done, which considering the planning that goes into each show, is ridiculous.

Considering the average time it takes to film a 90-minute movie is six months and that is not even considering the editing time, Vince McMahon must have some of the best writers on his payroll.

With The Edge and Christian Show, Holy-Foley and others created especially for the WWE Network, it serves as yet another example of how the company puts its customers first.

The New Day reign

The WWE World Tag-Team Championships have been around the waist of The New Day for 404 days and the trio are closing in on the longest-reigning record of Demolition.

It is unknown as to whether backstage officials want Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E to break the record but with no realistic challengers as of yet it seems likely.

The day that the trio need to make it to if they want to beat Demolition's reign of 478 days is December 13 and it is expected that things will heat up nearer this date.

The Monday Night Raw just one day earlier will presumably be a huge event with the titles on the line although the contenders are yet to be announced.

The setting for one of the most exciting pay-per-views of the year may have been revealed despite WWE wanting to keep it a secret.

The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California was expected to be the place where 30-men will fight to gain a place in the main event of WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida.

However WWE have confirmed that the event will take place in San Antonio, Texas a full 20-years following the last time the special stipulation took place there.

Shawn Michaels defeated Psycho Sid at the Alamodome to pick up the WWE Title.

This is expected to be announced during a promotional video on the next episode of Monday Night Raw.
