The draft has been the hot topic in wrestling recently and with several past stars returning such as Rhyno and Jinder Mahal being portrayed as 'free agent's' the company decided to create an article based on free agents on their website, but that article has left current star, Luke Harper frustrated.
The WWE created a 'Top 10 free agents' article on WWE.com which featured a host of top-tier talent's such as The Rock, The Undertaker, and Nikki Bella as well as stars that have been away from the company for several years such as Carlito and Cryme Tyme. One name that was also featured on the list was injured Wyatt Family member, Luke Harper and in a recent interview with The Chad Dukes Wrestling Show he opened up about his frustrations with the list his employers created.
Frustrations
In the article Harper was listed underneath tag team, Cryme Tyme which has left him with a sour taste as he claimed it "Really makes you question your career choices" as he clearly vented his frustrations.
Harper went on to say he didn't mean any "Offense" to the tag team before claiming that they "Couldn't be more irrelevant to today's wrestling scene" showing his true feelings on the situation. It is clear that he isn't impressed at finding himself below a team that don't even work for the company whilst he has been involved in one of the company's top stables for several years.
The Wyatt Family member claimed the ranking was like a "Slap in the face" as he believes he will be a World Champion one day, whereas Cryme Tyme may never appear in the WWE again. The tag team were rumored to be making a return to the company during the draft and seeing them on the list has fueled those rumors which could mean this situation is a work for a potential story down the line when Harper returns from injury, but it is more likely this is how Harper truly feels.
There are plenty of question marks surrounding Harper and his return with the Wyatt Family now split it is unknown where he will be upon his return but he has often received great praise for his in-ring work and his return could provide him with a great chance to be a singles star for the first time.
