The questions surrounding the future of the Big Show have been constant for several years now with fans wondering when his time with the company would be coming to an end and after being used less and less frequently it seems that his time may very nearly be up with the company.

The World's Largest Athlete revealed his career is coming to an end and that this year would be his final one with the WWE during recent press interviews in Shanghai.

The end is near

Big Show has been one of the WWE's top superstars for over 10 years in a run that has seen him dominate stars of all statures and work from the bottom of the card in comedic roles all the way to monster heel runs within the main event picture. He hasn't always been a fan favorite and recent chants of "Please retire" have shown that some of the WWE Universe have grown tired of the big man, but there is no doubt he is a WWE legend and one of the best giants to ever lace a pair of boots.

Show hasn't appeared in a high profile role for some time now and with the company ushering in a 'New Era' it seems like the perfect time for him to walk away from the ring whilst he can still perform at a high level. Even though he claimed he feels better now (at 44) than he did when he was 34 he is still working hard to be in the best shape of his career to end it in style.

Now working on a limited contract to allow him more time with his family it seems Big Show is set to end his career in a big way at the Grandest Stage Of Them All as he once again confirmed that he will be facing Shaquille O'Neal at WrestleMania 33 in a match that fans have been wanting to see for many years.

After the surprise appearance of Shaq during the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 it seemed like that was the only interaction the two giants would have inside a wrestling ring at WrestleMania, but now the match is finally set in what will be Big Show's final ever match at Mania.

Even though it has been announced randomly and with seemingly no build it is a huge deal for WWE to have Shaq competing in a match at the company's biggest show of the year and is a fitting way for Big Show to bow out.
