SmackDown Live was branded as the new, different and improved product from its old self, and it seems as though it is living up to the hype.

The Blue Show has displayed two solid shows following the Brand Extension and with rivalries heating up, they are not slowing down.

But without further delay, here is what to expect on the latest edition of SmackDown Live!

Paranoid Dolph

While the title may be misleading, the mindset of The Showoff last week presented him as somewhat paranoid regarding his place in the company.

Dolph Ziggler began questioning the trust that Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon place in him and the comments from SummerSlam opponent Dean Ambrose may be swirling around his head.

The Champion last week suggested he may 'steal the show' but he will not defeat him and it seems that the former Spirit Squad member is aiming to prove himself again tonight.

After defeating Bray Wyatt last week with his no.1 contender spot on the line, Ziggler was ambushed by Eric Rowan before Ambrose tried to make the save but to no avail.

The two members of The Wyatt Family are likely to team up against The Showoff and the former Shield member in tag-team action, can they team up before squaring off at SummerSlam?

The Battle of the Free Agents

Heath Slater when he was left undrafted was expected to fade into obscurity but the 33-year-old has been injected into the spotlight more than ever.

The former Social Outcasts member was first seen on Monday Night Raw demanding to be drafted before Rhyno delivered a gore.

Slater then appeared with Jinder Mahal demanding once more on the Red Show but was betrayed by the former member of 3MB, who beat him in a match to earn a Raw contract.

Now he is set to go one-on-one against Rhyno with the winner being handed a contract for SmackDown Live, their match has somehow genuinely gained interest and their battle may extend to the SummerSlam pre-show, following their match tonight.

The women are rising

Last week's show presented Eva Marie firmly in the spot of the top heel in the SmackDown Women's division as she feigned an injury to avoid a match with Becky Lynch.

The division itself is in disarray with all of the females striving to become the top star of the division and it seems that as all of them continue to climb the doorway to stardom is becoming full.

With the veteran's such as Natalya looking to keep the young up and comers such as Carmella in line; it seems that the women are all on equal terms and any one of them could become the alpha female.

Expect more of the same with a number of women clashing, there has only been one winner of a female match on the blue brand as of yet and it seems this is what is keeping the rest of the stars on a similar level.

Tag-teaming up

American Alpha scored an impressive victory over The Vaudevillians last week and truly announced themselves on the SmackDown roster.

However, the tag-team division is rather weak, to say the least, and with nothing yet officially mentioned regarding titles, it seems that the blue brand is going to have to establish some competition.

There are just 5 teams in The Ascension, The Hype Bros, Breezango, American Alpha and The Uso's with just one that is currently favored by the audience.

The former NXT Tag-Team Champions may square off against their opponents from last week or take on a different pair of performers.

Apollo Crews is still a Miztory

Despite being the no.1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship, Apollo Crews still remains for the most part a bland performer.

The back story or any story for that matter has not been told of the former NXT man leaving fan's with very little interest.

Although The Miz is attracting interest with his "Never ending" Title celebration his altercations with his SummerSlam opponent have been lackluster.

Their feud has been missing that spark and tonight could be the night that Crews really showcases everything that he is about.
